I try to cycle on and off everything - including supplements. Everything I've read states that the body will reach a state of dependency and you will lose efficacy. And marijuana is damaging to the kidneys when consumed regularly/in excess. (To support your point, depleted kidney function leads to cognitive issues, I don't know if it works in reverse, I assume so - in some circles, Alzheimer's is referred to as diabetes type 3).

I'm going to assume that most hobbyists are aware that this is the most efficient way to address our desires. Women usually need too much of our time to give us sex. I didn't think loneliness to be a mental health issue, or a 'bad' trait. It's normal for everybody at some point to suffer loneliness.

I think it's normal to feel lonely every once in a while, depending on the circumstances (breakup, job loss, etc.), but I don't think it's normal to be constantly in this state of mind. I was referring to the latter, which is a general state of mind and a mental health issue. It's an issue that I suspect those men don't even realize they have, and sometimes are ashamed to admit. What I was referring to in my earlier comment was that to those people, excessive visits to MPs is a kind of defense-mechanism to offset that feeling (which does not work).

I urge people who do feel these bouts of loneliness to consider their feelings seriously, and address them through therapy and professional help. With COVID shutting everything down, I would not be surprised if this issue has gotten 50 times worse during this period.

I remember reading a few years ago that the UK announced a new 'Minister of Loneliness' to raise awareness about this issue!
