OffIce - If nothing else, consider this. There are people who may be curious about massage, but intimidated at the total unknown of undressing for a stranger, and not knowing what to expect. Chair massage helps introduce them to someone entering their personal space and making contact. Once they receive that positive touch, maybe they'll be more open to the idea of booking a table massage.
I drag out the massage chair at the health club I'm at almost daily, to promote myself between scheduled massages. I get a good handful of people every week who have never received any form of massage, and this seems to make a great introduction. Not only that, but I've never had anyone get off the chair feeling WORSE than when they sat down
.
All that said, I can't say I'm exactly excited to bring the chair out (as I do prefer table massage) but it's a useful tool at getting people into my massage room where I feel I can get more work done
