I have two cats both under 12 months who get on great.

I have just reserved a Labrador cross from the local RSPCA shelter and I need to introduce him to the cats.

The dog is only 5 months old and he is very boisterous (in the process of looking for a puppy class)
Can anyone suggest a method of introducing them safely ?
The dog is fine with other dogs, no aggression just excitement!
