Is it weird that my step-dad gave me a massage?

Is this weird, because it's had me pretty freaked out right now.
I had a bad back so asked my mum for one but she was going to bed....
It was just on my back, but he kept insisting on using oils and pulling my top up at the back.
It might just be me being paranoid but i felt really awkward about it.

Possibly you might want to avoid this situation in future as you can't be sure where it might lead. Your mother would not be pleased.

How old are you?
Is he a touchy-feely sort of guy?
How long has he been your step-dad? Does he realise that you're (I'm assuming) at a very sensitive and vulenerable age? Has he been used to romping with you as a kid?
I suggest you talk it over with Mum,and if she doesn't help talk to a teacher or guide leader or some adult you can trust.
And don't let the situation occur again if you can help it. If he "insists" on doing it again - scream the ruddy house down! It's your body, love, and you have the final say on who touches it.

your gut instincts are ALWAYS right. straight up look at the facts. you were and still are uncomfortable with this behavior of his regardless if he was meaning to be bad or not. I would sugggest if he said he was going to do it again or goes to do it again say nicely "im sorry, i just am not feeling comfortable with that right now. I m not into that" your boundaries- how you feel should be respected no matter what. on any level from anyone. but you have to tell them nicely or they may never know they are making you uncomfortable. if he gets mad then tell your mom and if your mom wont listen you tell someone thast will

Its not only weird but very in appropriate. Stop allowing him to give you a massage before it leads to something much worse. When we feel weird about someone, we should respect those feelings as they are almost always right.

If he refuses to stop the massage procedure, then tell your mother that you are uncomfortable and ask her to stop him. If it continues, then tell other adults in your family, or even the counselors in your school.
