Once I'm inside the AMP I figure that anyone I see that also sees me should be cool with it. It's the damned walk from my car to the front door that can get my skin crawling; especially these days at Jade (hate the walk of shame!) or if the AMP doesn't have a private location.

When I am there I don't want to see another guy. Kinda destroys the illusion for me. I am there to see a woman, and I don't need to see a guy at all. The places I frequent do a really good job of minimizing interaction.

I don't like to see other guys there, either... I know a couple people who are hobbyists, though. met though work or other circumstances and found out they hobby too. I'd be okay seeing one of them, but what are the chances

I'm not exactly *famous* or anything, but I run a business and have clientele all over the ok-tx-la region. I'm fairly well known in my little circles and I don't know all the people that know me. my SO is almost as well-known, for the same reasons... being recognized at an AMP could pretty easily wreck my home life. I tend to avoid AMPs when there are other cars in the parking lot, and take care to avoid contact with other patrons. you never know...

just found a Korean bartender elsewhere. something Hooters has yet to provide me. you know where I hang and several of you have been there though not in the past several months.

i really enjoy meeting members i've never met and running into old friends in the amps. usually turns into a great post session kitchen hangout. great times.

I ran into the CEO of my company, publically traded no less, a while back at blue angel. actually he was getting attention in one of the sauna rooms and my girl opened the door impulsively before knocking. long story short, he really is the commander in chief!!! lol

The shame is when you be-friend someone or trust someone in this hobby, or offer to meet for a drink and then they turn on you. I don't feel that any personal information should ever be shared between fellow hobbiest, never use real names. I've been burnt before, it could have cost me dearly. I found that there could be extreme jealousy between people.
