Is this the new Tiger Bars/Inn complex?

Soi Crocodile extended their lease, so will be around for another 9 years minimum. Soi Eric min. 4.5 years left. We will see if Eric extend or someone else take over. Seadragon may loose the middle bars, to open up for a hotel at the end of the soi, but all bars on the sides will still be there.

So bars will be on Bangla many years to come. Even new bars opened up on Soi Patong Resort and restaurants converted into new bars last few months.

Nicke , you will always know more than me, but Geir reckoned that Soi Sea Dragon will not resemble itself in 3 years, that no new Hotel wanted to run tourist coaches up a 'lady' soi...
..maybe the changes will be delayed by the world recession, but a number of Bar Owners feel the general Thai landowner mood is to move BG bars back up from the beach toward Nanaii and make a better "face" for Patong. ( ie more Dennys, Maccas, Hungry Jacks etc..FFS!)
I see new bars (all night I hear?) going in on upper San Sabaii, a new Tiger being developed and a rush to rent new bar space under the new apartment blocks close to Jungceylon, and I think,
"What do the Thais know that we dont??"

Bars opening around town because its a lot cheaper (well, not for those who pay 5m for new bars at the new Tiger), but will be interesting to see if the bars at Jungceylon get entertainment licenses, as its outside entertainment zone. (AFAIK)
