As for criminal, I assume you mean organized crime, since by definition a micro is criminal.
I can't say for sure, but I don't get the organized crime vibe as the place is just so... disorganized and therefore not financially efficient. The guys that were there were not like gun wielding thugs with gold chains or anything. They looked more like young university kids. I also doubt that organize crime would bother with 3 chicks when they could probably just as easily set up 20 or more in a small complex.
But who knows for sure? The guy was on the phone all the time, but I did not notice anything else illegal there.
