I'm not from your fine city and have regretfully never met her during my visits. However, why not allow someone to move on to new work and life choices they are making? I think it is rather rough posting her new ads and relating it to old stuff on this forum. If you have a great friendship with her from the past I'm sure you will figure out your own relationship with her in the future. But otherwise, some discretion is not such a bad thing.

Before anyone comes down hard on me, I'm posting this based on my own experience in another city, another therapist. As her life goals post covid have evolved, I've adjusted myself to go for therapeutic massages and forgo the rest of the sensual exchanges. On some occasions I sensed her leaning into me, but I kept my tongue in check.

Self control in order to help a friend move forward. Not a saint by any means. But we've got to take care of each other.

She's in a position where she does not want to give HJs at all - so she figures she might as well jack up that price and weed out the majority of us. She gets money and gives less hand jobs. Win-win.

You could go for a really really good 100% legit massage (I recommend vlada at 4 points - she’s insanely attractive and the best massage I’ve had btw) for an hour ($100) and then relax at GE or some place similar ($120) for an hour.

That’s 2 hours of relax fun time.

When a business wants to dramatically reduce the volume of something it sells, it raises the price, a lot. It seems she has enough legit biz, and only wants to touch pee-pees when someone is willing to pay, and a lot. I get it. I won't pay it, some might, that's okay. What we don't need here is an onslaught of posts saying what a bunch of cheap fuckers we are for not remortgaging our houses and going daily for a $220 HJ. Leave those posts for CAF.

I wish Josi well . in all honesty, I know I will never see her again. I'm fine with that. There are other masseuses legit and otherwise that were great until they were not . Or they decided they did not want our business or visa versa. They jacked the prices up or just went away. Adios muchacha buenos suerte.

Yes, have to agree. This could apply to any type of business. Case in point, I use to see an acupuncturist at a 100% LEGIT business and therapist. Very convenient with extended hours and a variety of therapist's. Than covid happened and business didn't survive. This particular acupuncturist went independent as I imagine many did. She reached out to me and asked if I would like to keep seeing her as she went independent. I said yes of course. Soon her hours of availability shrunk dramatically and her prices increased quite a bit. I was still ok with that as I could claim most of it on my health plan and could be flexible enough to see her on her limited schedule. I had been seeing her for 7 years (2 years as independent) and without any warning I was ghosted? Did she burnout? Didn't want to see a certain type of people? Wasn't able to secure an appointment , she wouldn't respond to a phone call or e-mail. I wasn't the only one, as I had a few friends that were seeing her...so I figured she modeled her independent business to a certain type of customer that would see her more frequently and probably have the more expensive type of appointments.

I wish her luck in her business and I hope she does well. As to your point most of us are not cheap, but there is a $ and frequency limit . It is the provider's prerogative as to what type of customer they want to see and how much they want to charge. Lesson learned, Don't be too loyal to one therapist. Look at it like insurance companies..always looking around for better $ and service.
