Just got back from 1st solo trip to Patong

i share your sentiments, weather in vancouver has been fantastic!!
as soon as i walked out of the airport, sunny, with a littl ebit of a breeze
just sueforum.xxx and it definitely keeps your mind focused where you are
cant wait to hit beach after work, go mountain biking in whistler on weekends!!

here in Darwin we are coming into the dry season .....every day clear blue sky, temperatures of 30 degrees, cooling down to around 18 degrees at night ....sueforum.xxx..... in fact the weather here i think is the opposite way around to thailand's, both places being in the tropics each side of the equator ....

Before my first trip in April, I had read on the forum about people getting the
"LOS Blues",, thought it was just a load of SHI*,, man was I wrong,, been back a little over 3 weeks and have a real hard time getting LOS out of my head,, even a girl I met there,, hard time not thinking about her and just everything in general.

Even though us here in the US don't get much vacation as compared to rest of Europe etc.,, have already set the dates for next years trip, staying 19days this time!!!!:cheers: :cheers: :cheers:
Now I can't stop thinking about that!!!

Unfortunately the LOS blues seem to get progressively worse after every trip! It does seem the only solution is to be there full time however I believe the move has to be well thought out and not based on the illusion you'll be on a non-stop holiday in LOS unless you are in a position to retire. My life here in California is tolerable but it definitely pales in comparison to LOS. All I can do right now is work hard, save up and plan my eventual escape.

It seriously is like a drug, feel like I'm constantly going through withdrawal until I can get back. 39 more days and I get my FIX.

OK THE FIRST 3 OR 4 TRIPS CAN BE A PAIN IN THE AR5E FOR THE BLUES......BUT WHEN YOU BECOME A REGULAR TRAVELLER TO LOS.YOU DONT SUFFER THE BLUES..WELL I DONT AND I KNOW A LOT MORE BMs WILL AGREE WITH ME.......COZ YOU KNOW THE NEXT VISIT IS ONLY AROUND THE CORNER..........
