No, it is still 40$ for the standard tip. She probably did not have any customers that day and was pissed her only customer was giving 40$ tip. Don't take it personally and don't cave next time

$40 is the basic tip but I tip $60 since pandemic. Even a JR girl failed to give me a HE, I still tipped her $60 for her massage and efforts in teasing.
