Karaoke Violence

can i ask if there was a steak buffet house on the opposite side of the road to this karaoke joint?as i cannot remember the name of the place but when i have stayed in kk i have visited a particular karaoke bar(its near the train station) a few times,i have had a few dodgy nights there with local lads.i have never had a fight or been hit,but been eyed up the wrong way and have had words said.
i think when you get outside the tourist areas the local lads dont like to see farangs with there girls,if you understand what i mean.especially if you get a few of them paying you attention.

It wasn't near the train station, it was about 50m from the Deema hotel on the corner. The owners of the hotel urged me to go to the police as they thought that sort of thing will drive people away from Khon Kaen. A few of them were actually getting into the song but obviously not all. The owner of the bar spoke excellent english and said he knew them and they were around 18 years old. I had a conversation with he and his wife the night before and they were very nice people, hence they looked after me following the incident. The girl i was with was hysterical and keep on apologising for all the attention she gave me.
