Actually, I find that even the quality of the massage has gone downhill recently. Or maybe I need to stop seeing Jenny and see someone else.

Actually Jenny is not the problem... She gives one of the best overall massages around .... If you love cheesecake, but eat it every day, you will soon find out that you really don’t love it as much anymore... So perhaps by mixing a little more variety in our favourites we can all appreciate them more. I see Jenny regularly, but also enjoy Amanda from Fuji Wellness , Daisy from Kelly Bayview, Hailey from XR Wellness , are just a few examples !

In my opinion they are jerks who have no respect for the decent girls who work at this legit places.For some reason the girls are working there ,making less money than at places with mileage,they like to be respected and be seen like what they are, professional and legit massage providers,nothing else.

A jerk is a guy that drops 2 brown bills thinking he has the rights to do whatever he wants to a girl for the next half an hr.

However, there is nothing wrong with working your charm and getting more. This applies to everything in life whether its the cashier, waitress, receptionist or a girl working in a legit or holistic spa..

How much do you guys tip for an hour there? I mean the hour massage is $45 cash, so it's quite low for a good massage. I usually tip $30, which is high considering there's no HE. One day I tipped $40 for a good massage and the lady receptionist was looking at me funnily, and then she spoke for quite some time in Chinese with Jenny. I don't know why but Jenny always has a scared look on her face when that receptionist is there. The guy (Ian) seems pretty cool. He always asks me, "So, do you feel nice? relaxed? happy?" after a massage.

When I said I like a hard massage, he recommended Sophia. So I will see her sometime.

The same here ,I tip between $25 and $30 ,because even there is not HE. the girls work hard for the money,doing real and good massage is not easy job and they don't make much money,so they deserve good tips.Some cheap customers tip $2 or $5,that's crazy considering the good and professional massage they are getting,and the prices so cheap for the services.In your case,I guess if you gave a good tip, the receptionist think something that is not allow on a legit Spa is going on.I always tip directly to the attendant to avoid bad interpretations.

You tip like the non hobbyist customers they have.
Kind of cheap in my opinion.
As other have said, they work hard. They do a good job.
They don't get paid a ton of money.
I usually tip 30-40 at Kelly Spa for a straight, legit, quality massage.

Ian told me last time there was a guy who booked 3 hours straight (1 girl each hour)... 3 hours! And then he tipped all the girls 100$ each, and even Ian! He was quite giddy about it.

Nope.. I have a friend who goes to spa 3-4 times a week and always takes 2-3 girls and tips them 100-300 bucks all the time. He was at Candy spa 2 weeks ago and saw Chanel for just one hr and tips her 300 bucks without FS or HJ. Same last week at Blue Sky. He just wanted to cuddle and chit chat with gilrs. He came to SL every week when I was there. He makes thousands every day from his stocks. One Asian kid came over to Candy spa b4 Chanel went back. He stayed one hr and tipped her $350. I had seen a 28 yrs old rich Chinese student bought a Maseratti coupe for his MPA girl friend 3-4 yrs back. Money is nothing to some rich dudes and some rich Asian kids.

Never really get a chance to tip the attendant directly. They basically leave the room soon as the massage is over, but I always end up wondering if my tip gets to them after I leave it with reception.

I find both of those situations a bit awkward.

The first, you're naked so you have to drape yourself to get to your wallet. It seems like the attendant is in a rush to get out of the room so it doesn't look like she's waiting for a tip.

The second, it appears that you don't trust the receptionist to hand over the money. And it looks like you want credit from the attendant for giving her a tip.

Anyhow I've always tipped generously there, I'm just curious do the tips make it to the girls.

Whenever I go, it's usually later in the evening and Ian is there, and I have seen him give the tips to the girls directly. I have even dropped a couple of the girls home a couple of times (found out they live next block!), so I have seen them collect the tips myself. If you pay credit card, they take out the cash from a bag and put it on the counter.

Speaking of tip, last time at Perla, I was trying to hand my tip to the MPA after the session.

She politely asked me to place the money on the massage table. She said it was bad luck to get money from other hand.

This was the first time I heard of. She is a mixed of Italian, Spanish (?) and some black. Perhaps this is just her culture.
