So the conclusion is that Candy is no longer there?

Alright, there is more to my KLMT saga yesterday. Miday through my half hour with Sisi, I told her to just go and bring in Candy because she keeps getting interrupted and some lady kept talking to her through the door. So Candy came in, well it was the 20 something someone said in here with a great physique. She looked way older with schoolgirl pigtails and really disheveled clothing. And her elbows were dry lol. So if that's Candy, she's still there but not sure what the hype is about. Yesterday was a brutal day for me in this hobby.

The Candy who used to be at Nana's some years back did not have a slim build. I recall this was the reason I opted to see Lulu on my second visit. Lulu, of course moved on and became Crystal at Rosewater. We will need a guidebook soon to help us aging warriors navigate the movement of staff and their ever changing names, and to know if new is new or if it is the old new.

In the he same ad, Candy's name is not mentioned. Is Monica and Candy same person?

Long time lurker, first time reviewer. Visited Ann a little while ago and thought I'd share my experience.

To sum it up, Ann was great! Everything previous posters said is true. Great tease throughout, always checking in to see how pressure etc. is, and excellent finish. The massage itself was decent, I think I would ask for more pressure next time (probably will be a next time!), but that wasn't the main reason why I visited. She did put in effort though and hit all the requested spots. I was nervous about going as it was my first time visiting a place like this here and it was a great first experience!

Like someone else said, the oil is laid on thick and I don't think it is the highest quality. Being new to this I was a bit nervous and just wanted to leave after but I wish I had washed more of it off first as it irritated my skin later. I wouldn't be surprised if it was mixed with canola oil or something, it did have a bit of a scent and it wasn't aromatherapy. Would it be weird if I brought my own oil?? Lol. Although that can get expensive fast at the rate she went through it.

One thing I did that she seemed to really appreciate was paying her tip in cash while still in the room and paying for the massage out front. I don't know if that matters but she seemed to really like it. Also, and I'm hoping maybe someone with more experience than this could message me privately some advice. I was surprised by how happy and thankful she was for the tip I gave her, she even gave me a hug! I won't say how much here because I get the impression talking numbers openly is frowned upon but I didn't think I gave her that much and I have no regrets tipping her, she earned it. However, I don't want to upset the balance and start the wrong trend because of my ignorance! I'd appreciate if someone can message what the expectation is for a full body massage with finish. The only other time I've done something like this was in a place where all of these businesses would list prices for everything up front on their websites so I'm not used to the guessing game.

Leaving, everyone was super friendly and pleasant. Location is nice, more importantly it is clean. Overall I would give it a solid 8 and plan on going back.

Even if there is no direct relationship with XP group, maybe KL bought the unused oil from XP (inventory from years ago). . My earliest venture to XP, even the hottest showers wouldn't remove the recycled motor oil that they were using. When
I mentioned my itchy skin
as a result, they quickly switched to coconut oil.

I've had many massages with Ann (Formerly "Annie" at Xiaoping) and that was/is always my reception at XP- exuberantly friendly. And ANY tip is thrilling to them! I've been to places where they immediately let you know (by a frown or scowl) what they think of your tip. Since you're a long time lurker, you probably know it's been a bit of a debate here. Usually 40 to 60 is normal for a manual finish. At XP I try to judge by their reaction if I am tipping enough but I get the same excited reaction whether it's $20 or $60.

But you will find Ann gives an excellent deep, strong massage if you ask her. One time I came in after straining my lower back (I could hardly move!). She noticed and came in with a (very!) hot wet towel and laid it on my lower back before starting my massage. She just let it sit there for the first ten minutes while she massaged around it. What a difference! There have been other personal touches she's done for me that made her massages special. (Again, I've been to places where you tell them about trouble spots like your lower back and the massage doesn't change.)

Oil- yes, she's always generous with the oil. Best to have a shower after! But ask for coconut oil and/or tell her your skin was irritated and she'll accomodate you. I'm sure she will limit the oil, too, if you ask. (I also found she was doubly generous with the oil on the finish!)

Like any other girl, give her a couple more tries. She will remember you and improve to your preferences- (unlike many other girls!).

Your comments on their genuine happiness on all tips is the defining reason that I consider XP as being the best place for massages in this province. And I don't even live in Edmonton. As a result I don't know all the therapists. But the joy in being received by therapists such as Wendy cannot be found very often in other places. And it is not driven by tips.

Have never seen Ann myself, but I do appreciate a good review from a newbie.
I’m sure the discretion is appreciated.
To the point of tip, I typically lean to the 60 side for the basic.

I do find that XP's staff is very friendly. They always smile and give a little giggle now and then. I always tip, even though they don't ask me, and you get a hug, smile and they tie up your shoes or boots when you leave, go figure.

I've heard Linda is a bit of a tyrant, but XP/TT must be doing something right as the staff turnover there is very low compared to the industry as a whole. The staff there know that regulars are the key to making it work and do a great job of making you want to come back.

KLMT has for sure adopted some of the same DNA, of course with Ann a former XP staffer. They're having some typical start-up teething issues, but long term if they keep at it, I see them doing well.
