Massage4life, I didn't end up getting that PM from you, so I'll respond here in the hopes you'll see it; a "spitting" shell usually occurs when the hole in the shell's cap is a little too small. Hopefully you've already spoken to your Account Manager about this, but if not please get in touch with us, it's very easy to replace a shell cap as necessary.

I am a LMT here in Colorado. I recently purchased a Lava Shell home kit to check this product out. I found the shells very smooth as well as a perfect fit for my hands. I also loved how easy it was to insert the activator & how quick and painless they were to clean. No spitting, water dripping or mess either. I read above, d_young, that you offer a 24 CEU course. That is fabulous! I am extremely interested in this learning. I also would like to purchase both heat levels of the Professional Grade. I might even be able to be a distributor in the future as I know we, here in Colorado, have a high interest in effective thermal application that is eco-friendly. With the high rate of insurance claims with Hot Stones this product is safer for both the client as well as myself. I like that. Please contact me ASAP so I can provide my eager clients with this awesome product.

  * ...check out Thermal Palms. They are a great alternative to hot stones. They glide easily over the skin and can also be used over clothes. You can make them in advance of your appointment and carry them in an insulated bag so they stay hot. They are lightweight and retain their heat well.
  
  
  * Yes. I have used them and I love them as long as they never touch the skin. I have thought they would be absolutely perfect for what you are talking about. I like them quite a bit but they are FAR to hot to even consider touching a client's skin with. People love how they feel through clothing. They glide quite nicely and heat up very quickly.
