Why does there seem to be so little tolerance here for lady boys? In person, they don't seem to be any more or less annoying than any other group of people you're likely to run into in Patong.

It's probably true that most people here think that what they're involved in is wrong, but to most of the world, what almost everyone here seems to go to Patong for is wrong. (I'm guessing that "most" is the appropriate word in both cases.)

Actually Pablo, I've been reading up on a lot of old threads here. Lots of good information for visitors. Yeah, I responded to this one, but I sure don't think I said anything that would start any kind of controversy. All I really said, was if you can't tell the difference, does it matter.

You're right though, there's a lot of great information and stories on the "old threads", and while I'm guessing they're "old" to you, for a newcomer they're not really "old". If the people who ran this place didn't want people to respond to them, I'm guessing they'd lock them so people could read them, but not respond.
