HI Love2Massage, I think it's a great idea to post an ad here, at least it's normal chating compare to the rest of the reviews lately.
Do you have receipt or direct billing?

Thank you. I don't direct bill yet. But I do provide receipts for clients to submit themselves.

I'm trying to sort it all out and get set up soon. Right now providing receipts and having clients submit them seems to work well for me. I'm on the fence about offering direct billing due the time it will take up between clients, logging into each insurance site, processing etc... But I'll try it, see how it goes.

Sounds good. But you know you could have all my info and do it online later, if you have a client right after me. It's just an idea, I don't want to tell you what to do.

Other massage therapist that I know who have done it that way, have found out that benefits were used up, no valid etc.. the client was already gone and they had a hard time getting payment. And not all of the insurance companies are quick or efficient at reimbursement for massage therapist.
If anything I'd probably have to check benefits and/or take payment before the massage, I use to go to a massage clinic that did it this way. Was kinda nice to just leave after the massage and not think about insurance or payment.
