I'm positive that financial considerations entered the equation, but I also doubt that many were physically coerced into their "Independant" lifestyle. We all make different choices in life, I want to make as sure as possible that it's a choice.

Me either. While trafficking may in fact exist, that certainly wasn't happening here. It just makes a good excuse to get the parlors closed without any real evidence. Admittedly, they could probably have found less prominent locations, which would have attracted less attention.
