Funny thing is Denver the doorman 'local thug' is actually a local policeman, thats his little earner on the side. Met another one recently, his little earner is working the local market selling fruit and veg.

When you find out quite a few of them are having to work after doing their 12 hour shift, just to make ends meet, it makes you think a little about how much scamming they are actually doing or getting???

Been meaning to have one of those Denver nights in Kamalala.... Hopefully on me next trip can get together with some of the Kamalala vets and have a quiet one.....:wink2:

First bar on left into kamala is Maydens then mountain view then Riders, so 3rd one in on left.

The 'Local Thug' Mr 'Soap' the doorman up at Chang used to be Kamalalalala Police Chief..........Squeaky Clean he was!!!!

Great bar, probably my favourite bar in Phuket at the moment, the only problem for me is being able to get there, no one goes until the other bars are shutting, so 1, 1.30am onwards, then by 2am the place is packed by all the bg's in the village, and because you have most likely been in quite a few by the time it gets to 2am, you know half the people in there. My struggle is staying sober enough until 2am to still be able to remember how good it is and get there!!!!

Live band, playing thai and western hits. Girls are out for fun after work and so really party hard, plus they have not of course punched out!!

Just thought I'd better explain punched out, it doesn't mean hitting someone with a clenched fist, but clocking off by putting your work card in the punch machine.

Si has given you the right directions, give a go Rex, you'll like it a bit I reckons!!

No, I am not the owner, nor do I have anything to gain from posting my experience there. I just simply shared the fact that I had a great time there.

I also had a great time at MTB, and posted about it too.
