Massage Uniforms
We're pretty much free to wear what we want in our shop as long as it looks nice (no ripped jeans, midriff tops, shorts, etc). The owner tends to wear jeans and khakis, one CMT wears yoga pants and Ts.) I wear long, flowy skirts and Tshirts with a shallow V or scoop neck because skirts give me a feeling of much more freedom of movement and I can NOT wear anything up around my neck. Don't like collared shirts at all, (ie polos) as I feel very constricted and hot. In the summer I wear tank tops but they are wider at the shoulder and not low cut, no little strappy ones with bra straps hanging out. In the winter I tend to wear a tank under a long sleeved T, so I can take the outer shirt off before I do a massage. I wear sandals probably 8 months out of the year and when it gets cold I keep a pair at the shop to wear there, because like Pueppi, I massage barefoot. I have to be comfortable to do massage or the whole thing just feels 'off'. I also wear big earrings and necklaces, mostly with shells or beads, but they are quiet ones, no clanky or bangy sounds. The look totally works for me, in terms of personality and comfort. But it's probably not what you're looking for, lol.
