Until recent reports about Lisa, they have never asked, nor negotiated for tips at TT/XP- one of the things I like best about those places. For my usual massage I tip $40 but sometimes $50 or $60 if they 'went the extra mile'. They have always seemed happy with this.

Tipping has been discussed before on this forum and it's always a controversial topic. My "budget" for massages is pretty slim so I have to limit my frequency to usually one per month sometimes two. Large tips just means I get fewer massages! It really bugs me when I hear of guys tipping $100 or more. Perhaps they are getting a lot more 'services' than I am? But the way I see it is it sets a precedent where the girls start expecting $100 and treat us $40 tippers like shit. And that's how inflation starts! Maybe some guys like to feel like "Mr. High-Roller" and have all the girls fawning over them and bending over backwards to please them but they are just shooting themselves in the foot (Sheesh! So many cliches! ) and making the hobby less affordable for the rest of us!

Let me get this straight - if I choose to tip what I believe is a fair tip and it’s more than you choose to pay, I am a high roller and making things harder for you? $40 for a tip is cheap. But you pay less so you can get more massages - I suggest you pay what the experiencenis worth and stop blaming others for your lack of budget .

On the flip it was straight to HJ with no discussion.

I look at it as these ladies make $60 per massage already and my $40 makes it $100. What other unskilled labourer makes $100/hr? (And the $40 is tax free!)

It doesn’t work that way in real life. The thousand dollar tipper fails to show up for a second visit. Then there are the obsessed types that will revisit day after day with a wad of cash trying to impress the masseuse. Any experienced masseuse knows that both types are dead ends from a business perspective. The best clients are the ones that are respectful but they repeat on a regular basis with rational spending habits. A once a week client is more valuable than some idiot who shows up once in a blue moon flashing a big wad of hills.

I can't believe we are fighting about what others tip

I tip what I want when i want across all businesses. Both too much and too little according random people I will probably never meet.
Feel free to tell me what I tip is wrong and negatively affects you. as always I will just keep scrolling past and care only very, very little. Sometimes learning from your comment and sometimes not.
this goes for how I read all of the MP/X/Reddit/FB/Insta post telling me how tipping/voting/healthcare/religion really should be.
I spent a long time letting random posts make me angry. a little mind set change and tuning out much of it has really changed my life and overall mental heath.
I still get sucked in once in a while but I strongly suggest giving internet idiot a scroll past and not get into wars with Random people.

If any of you are looking for less BS from randoms without completely dumping socials, the biggest advice I can give is Stay Away from the Comment section on all social media!! it's where the real cesspool is.

I said nothing to humiliate you. My opinion is $40 is cheap for good service. The Stanley Cup and billionaire examples are irrelevant. No bots buy up massages and sell them to you for a premium and I am sure some or maybe a lot tip more than I do and I couldn’t care less. The women deserve a good living for dealing with dogs like us. Expecting others to tip less because you want to have more massages on your budget and then complaining about what others do that you can’t afford seems like an attempt to make what I do ultimately about you.

I said $40 is cheap. That’s my opinion. Odd though that you would feel insulted or humiliated for paying $40 when you think it’s ok to do so and to criticize those who by paying more than you, calling them high rollers and generally blaming them for making your hobby somehow harder for you.
