Review of Nirvana Thai Spa in Thane
Date of Visit: Sunday, 9th June 2024
Ambience and Owner:Upon visiting Nirvana Thai Spa in Thane, I encountered an ambiance that exuded a sense of tranquility and relaxation. The owner, Krishna, who hails from the Marwadi community, struck me as a dedicated businessman with a knack for salesmanship. However, despite the promising start, my overall experience at the spa left much to be desired.
Massage Session:Opting for a 90-minute oil massage, I was attended to by a therapist whose name I vaguely recall as possibly being Lavina. While the massage itself was satisfactory, it did not quite meet the standards I had hoped for. The therapist's technique was competent, but there was a distinct sense of haste throughout the session, detracting from the overall relaxation I sought.
Encounter with FS:Midway through the session, I inquired about the possibility of a full-service (FS) offering. Initially, the therapist hesitated and suggested a business-to-business (B2B) alternative. Upon my refusal, she eventually acquiesced to my request for an additional fee of 6,000 rupees. However, I found the proposition to be exorbitant and ultimately not commensurate with the quality of service provided.
Final Verdict:In summary, while Nirvana Thai Spa presents itself as a promising establishment, my experience fell short of expectations. The rushed nature of the session, coupled with the questionable pricing for additional services, left me feeling dissatisfied. Consequently, I cannot in good conscience recommend this spa to others and do not foresee myself revisiting in the future.
