Posted on red board today Muse Mixer. What a shitshow!

Having been out of the hobby for a couple years, I decided to go to Muse for a mixer and meet some new girls. I'm not going to name names here because they were all brand new and I suspect it was more an issue of training.

First, I could hear the girls getting instructions while I was changing and I think I would have preferred management to simply tell me no one was available rather than set them up with no idea what they were doing.

Second, each girl brought in their phone with a twenty minute timer. It was weird and a little stressful. In the past, it was always the girl outside keeping time (I'm sure the girl in the room was watching the clock but she didn't set an alarm).

Third, the second and third girls were both late. The first girl actually got up and left when her alarm went off, leaving me alone in the room for a few minutes before the second arrived. The second stuck around but got up the moment the third walked in the door. No overlap at all.

Finally, none of them seemed to understand the pace of the mixer. Each treated it like a 20-minute topless massage. I get mixers to figure out who to spend hours with. I'm sure I'm not alone in that. I've never had each girl walk in and tell me to turn over for a back massage.

I have had some truly amazing mixers. I'm still chasing the dragon of one with Onyx and Shayne nearly a decade ago. But for this most recent, I found myself starting at the clock waiting for it to end.

I'm with you. Muse had a good run and probably peaked in that Bella/Maria era. The ladies they had during that 2-3 year span were simply amazing. Now, it's almost like they are a spa with ladies for dudes with particular niche tastes.

There are better places but I find it's consistently pretty good and if all I want is a BS then muse and flirt (nearby) are my go-to.

And I avoid Sunshine next door like the plague.
