thing is i find (and i do like all genres of music young and old) , in places like rock hard,playschool (rip,thankgod) soi eric and many other places(i could go on all day) playing rock and older music , the girls just aint into it....(unless its thai)
yeah its ok when u wanna sit and have a chat,but most of the girls look like they wanna slit their wrists,doesnt for me make a great atmosphere....
u see them perk up as soon as the upbeat stuff comes on,thai stuff or newer comercial stuff.
Leave the rock and blues to the live band orientated places I say.

If your in patts at anytime check out rolling stones bar at the far end of WS,great covers new and old,deffo one of the best ive seen in LOS

yep thats right, except they will dance to RnB and some dance stuff. We play a thai song every 30 minutes to keep some momentum up and switch back to RnB when they get really bored. If you played thai music all night just to keep the thai girls dancing it would drive everyone else out of the soi.

Not trying to start a LOS Vs PI argument...but the girls there all love their western music,and watching a movie with them is also a shared thing.

It`s a bit more equal that way,IMO.
Not as much pretending that one or the other is having a good time.

From a mongering point of view, to my mind it wouldn't matter what music was playing, if the girls are minging in an establishment the punters are gonna go elsewhere..

I say play music the girls like, if the girls are having fun, the likelihood is that the punters will be aswell. I love being in a go-go in Patts at the end of the night, when the girls are looking bored sh1tless with the same old western tunes playing, waiting for the bar to close. The DJ will usually stick some Thai music on to finish off, as soon as this comes on they all go wild. It really is great to see...

Although Trevors new place does sound like a nice alternative. If there are some pretty girls in there, i will give it my patronage for sure........:great:
