Metal...like many boards TJA doesn't like multiple handles. One of the rules is you can't use multiple handles in the same thread. You did, which is why your multiple handles were deleted. Your Metal handle is still active. (Some proxy servers have recently been added to the ban list, which may be why you're having problems.) PM me if you're still having problems.

That Nacho handle almost had me fooled, except when he didn't say, ' thanks for playing' I knew it wasn't him.

That's a ingenious and clever way to bring up a banned handle from the dead.

Off hand I don't know if any rules were broken using another handle?

This message is for Metal: Be careful with Brutus and other password crackers that crack by brute force. If you have anti-virus protection on your computer it will go crazy, and sometimes it hard to get rid of. I'm currently playing with "Cain & Able" it does brute force, but so much more, but damn it hard to figure out how those things work, but it's mainly for your own computer in case you lost a password, as it has a sniffer and other handy tools.

Very cute site Dr Choi, no place to put pictures? I'm having a hard time deciding what handle to use, as I had so many favorite. My favorite's were Johnny Yoo, the UC Berkeley professor who wrote the book on Torture for Bush, or Sodomizer, for back door fun, both short lived handles I used to get back on sites after my banned handle was destroyed and banned. I'm going to have to think about this one?

A poster today has come onto TJA posing as Nacho (nacho was banned over a year ago). This poster was able to create a handle name of "Nacho." and log on that way. They've even created a humorous signature: "irishman was right all along" and uploaded Nacho's old avatar.

I myself did a double-take when I read his first post.

Now this IMPOSTER Nacho has been free to create 9 posts for more than an hour, while numerous mods were logged in.
He may have fooled BigDogg88, who welcomed him back to the board (BD may have been joking himself with the welcome back).

But one thing is clear...
Moderators are allowing this obvious second handle.
There was even some mod 'blue type' warning BigDogg that this 'new nacho' was an imposter, and not the original Nacho.


So the double standards in rule enforcement at TJA certainly continues...

Personally I don't think that posts that serve to "out" people belong on any board, regardless of whether written by an angry poster, respected poster, second handle, or mod.

I would support moderators who removed those types of posts.
It would be kewl with me if they edited or altered them instead, just as long as a reader could tell where the moderator's edits were made.

I've certainly not agreed with certain moderators actions, but I've never seen an instance of where a mod seemed to be going out of their way to "set up" a poster. Nor even indications of that. So I personally won't worry about that until I see signs of it happening.

No I didn't get banned, I was just wondering what happened, however I wonder why I'm not banned. Silexdawg, once made the mistake in the thread below to take me on over here on my views of VivaMexSpa v Azteca MP, where I promoted Azteca being the better place. I did that, because I felt other people here were given bias views on VivaMexSpa, and were in cahoots with each other, and unfair to Azteca. I'm sure my now, everyone knows I was right about these people being in very close and maybe even in business together? Despite what I said, about VivaMexSpa, I never said anything bad about the place, except I prefer the more Mexican feel on Aztecta then the modern American feel of VivaMexspa.

Yes running a site can be very hard if you don't know how to write in PHP code to keep it updated, and keep track of the usage. It's probably got close to the end of the billing cycle, and they ran out of room. I'm sure it will be up later.

I talked to SP before about his site that was hacked. The site needs to be updated to a new version, and everything has to be moved over. SP simply lacks the PHP skills to get it done. I was thinking about helping me get it back up, but I really don't have the skills either, and don't want to take the time to learn. The solution is to find somebody to do the work for SP, and pay him some money to get it up and give the site back to SP. The problem with PHP forums, and I searched the topics, is they are willing to help you do specific things, but you can't just advertise to fellow members, that you are willing to pay money for somebody to help you, as it's against their terms of service.

So the answer is find someone who knows PHPBB's and can get the site running for SP, and I'm sure he'll be glad to open it back up, and have many posters.

Thead below is Silexdawg and me exchanging some words about MP's however the good stuff got deleted where he admits he gets pissed, and calls me an asshole or something like that. It upset me a little, but the troll part of me loved it.
