What can I say except that Iโm a creature of curiosity? Iโve read the less-than-flattering massage reviews for My Wellness. But it was time for a haircut, and I was in the area, so curiosity won out โ for a haircut only ($30). I thought that if I liked what I saw, and got a good vibe, I could return for more.
I know this isnโt a forum for haircut reviews, so wonโt dwell on that, but just offer some general info that others may find helpful.
Cici was very pleasant, easy to chat with, short (5โ2โ-ish), mid-back length reddish-auburn hair, meets my definition of 35-40-ish cute, and I was quite impressed with the haircut she gave. Saying this just because there are likely others who may be considering a โhair cut test driveโ before considering anything more.
Honestly, Cici was more precise and particular than many of those at the other salons Iโve used. Afterward she offered a visit to the back, and gave me a quick tour. Rooms looked clean and attractive. A previous post about the shower now makes sense โ it is really a laundry tub converted to a shower, and strictly for convenience of users whoโve come directly from work. I suggested that Cici tell her boss they should invest in a better shower room, like other area spas offer. Iโve showered in worse, but be advised.
There was one other massage attendant; a younger girl (mid-20โs, decent figure, long dark hair) but she paid little attention to me. Didnโt get the same warm vibe from her that I got from Cici, but that might be an unfair and hasty assumption.
Would I go back for a haircut again? For sure. And it was a risk-free, perfect way to check the place out.
Would I go with Cici to one of the back rooms? Given the warm hug and playful smile she gave before I left, I think my curiosity will rise to the occasion. Will post again once that happens.
