I TOFTT to check out the talent. As I was on the table being massaged she had a “drop in”client, who was going to leave so she came to me and said “Honey, I will be back in 10 minutes”…( it was longer than 10 minutes).

Any masseuse who leaves you hanging mid massage for 15 minutes does not deserve a repeat visit.

Burlington does have a good place to go now. Cara Studio has upped their game and both Shirley and Judy ( both Asians with great massage skills)

What can I say except that I’m a creature of curiosity? I’ve read the less-than-flattering massage reviews for My Wellness. But it was time for a haircut, and I was in the area, so curiosity won out – for a haircut only ($30). I thought that if I liked what I saw, and got a good vibe, I could return for more.

I know this isn’t a forum for haircut reviews, so won’t dwell on that, but just offer some general info that others may find helpful.

Cici was very pleasant, easy to chat with, short (5’2”-ish), mid-back length reddish-auburn hair, meets my definition of 35-40-ish cute, and I was quite impressed with the haircut she gave. Saying this just because there are likely others who may be considering a ‘hair cut test drive’ before considering anything more.

Honestly, Cici was more precise and particular than many of those at the other salons I’ve used. Afterward she offered a visit to the back, and gave me a quick tour. Rooms looked clean and attractive. A previous post about the shower now makes sense – it is really a laundry tub converted to a shower, and strictly for convenience of users who’ve come directly from work. I suggested that Cici tell her boss they should invest in a better shower room, like other area spas offer. I’ve showered in worse, but be advised.

There was one other massage attendant; a younger girl (mid-20’s, decent figure, long dark hair) but she paid little attention to me. Didn’t get the same warm vibe from her that I got from Cici, but that might be an unfair and hasty assumption.

Would I go back for a haircut again? For sure. And it was a risk-free, perfect way to check the place out.

Would I go with Cici to one of the back rooms? Given the warm hug and playful smile she gave before I left, I think my curiosity will rise to the occasion. Will post again once that happens.
