Need suggestions ASAP!!! Where's a good MP to work at?

Hi Card Inhale Wang!!! One of my friends decided to check out Star and this is what she told me. DF is $40, girl gets nothing from it. Tipping is standard, T is $20, N is $40, NR is $60, BUT BS is also $60... not allowed to charge more. Is that correct or do the girls charge $80 for BS but just not let management know? If those are really the prices, no wonder the girls never stay long. I don't think I'm even going to bother trying that place. As for Ginger... they're closing soon. Don't know anything about Venus although I did work at HI briefly (same owner as Venus). Anybody know anything about Cedarbrae, Blue Star, Tia, Temptation, Lei Lei, G & P, Kingston, or Bella. I don't see too many reviews on any of them.

Hi fellow massageplanet.netites!!! Thank you to all of you who PMed me and gave me suggestions as to where's a good place to work. (And thanks to those who offered me a job too. That's just SOOOO sweet. I really do appreciate it eventhough I didn't take up on any offers.) I called around A LOT these past couple of days and checked out quite a few MPs. Anyways, I'm happy to report that after lots of searching, [and driving my driver bananas because I kept on giving him the wrong direction... (but it was partly his fault too... neither one of us can tell the SE corner from the NW corner...etc)] I think I finally found a good place to work. It's so hidden, it took us an hour to find the friggin' place. (plus the fact that the owner couldn't speak english very well didn't help at all). We just kept on driving around and around in circles and it's not like we can ask people, "oh, excuse me sir... you look like you would go to a whack joint... do you know where it is, I swear, I know it's SOMEWHERE around here???" Anyways, boss seems REALLY nice, (although all bosses SEEM nice in the beginning, only time can tell), just T,N,NR offered, no BS, BJ, or FS. (I don't really like the no BS part but oh well, I guess I'll just send all of those clients to my other MP) The place is licenced, seems really clean, and the girls seem really nice. I guess I'll try to behave myself and not be late, not be messy, and not wear my pyjama pants to work. AND he says that the LE has never visited them. (well, it's not like he's going to admit it anyways even if they did. What's he gonna say... Yeah, we have a whole stack of tickets just like you but don't worry, we're still kickin'.... You can add more tickets to the pile you already have and make a nice book out of it!!) But honestly, even if the LE tries to find the place, they'd probably drive around in circles and friggin' get a big humongous headache like me and my driver.

Anyways, I hope this boss won't start hitting on me or something 'cuz somehow, everytime I work for a male boss, it always ends up that way and I always end up leaving the spa (part of the reason why I ended up working at over 20 different places. Even the boss I have now (soon to be ex-boss), he tried hitting on me once, a long time ago, (he tried to touch my boobies) but when I just laughed it off and said, "stop it, it tickles... don't do that or I'll tell your gf"... he stopped and never did it again which is why I'm still working for him. So anyways, with this new boss, I told him straight up... that I don't do massages or sexual favors for bosses, and he seems fine with it. So hopefully, this place will work out for me. So far, he seems like a really decent guy. So wish me luck.

Actually, I was talking to one of the girls that work at Ginger and she told me that although they are closing for now, they will be re-opening sometime in January. The lady boss will no longer be there but her boyfriend will be taking over the new location. He was the owner of Markham Oasis so they will be calling it Oasis. It will be the same girls from Ginger and Oasis combined.

Hi Svend!! You know what??!! The other day, I was calculating how much I was paying my driver per year and I swear to God, my heart almost stopped. I'm working at this one place where the bus doesn't go, so I have to pay him $50 per day to take me there and I work there 3 times a week. That amounts to $150 per week, times 52 weeks which equals to $7800 per year. That doesn't even include the other days where I use him to take me grocery shopping, going to bf's, going to friend's house, etc. I'm just talking about going to work. Then there's the receptionist I have to pay at work. It's $10 per day which is mandatory plus $20 tip I usually tip her for cleaning my rooms, taking my appointments, etc. (Most girls tip her so I feel like I have to tip her too. Plus, she's really nice and she has a family to support to so how can I not tip her?? I would just feel too guilty.) So anyways, that amounts to another $30 a day. So $30 a day, times 52 weeks which equals to $1560 per year for receptionist fee. So $1560 plus $7800 (driver fee) equals $9360 per year MINIMUM just for going to work!!!!!!!!!

Reading some of the posts on this thread, I know some of you think that it's unfair that pretty girls use their looks to get away with things (or to get ahead in life) but to me, that's like saying smart girls use their brains to get ahead. My cousin (well, she's not really my cousin, she's my grandmother's sister's son's daughter... I think I'm suppose to call her my second cousin) well, anyways, my cousin and I used to go to the same highschool together and we were in the same grade. I remember I used to be SOOOOO jealous of her because she was SOOOOOO smart. She would ALWAYS get top grades in school... I'm talking about 100%, not just 99%.... because she was SOOOOO naturally smart (I swear, she hardly ever studies). Every year, our school would give out prizes/medals/trophies for people with the top marks and every year, she would get ALL the prizes for our grade. Me?, every year I got nothing. And every year, my friends would say, "isn't that your cousin up there?" And I'm just like.... yeah . And every year, my mom would be like... "yeah, (cousin's name) got a whole bunch of prizes again.... (hint, hint)" And I just feel like saying to her, "well, maybe if we didn't move 3 times every year while I was in elementary school and if I had stayed in the same school long enough, maybe I'd get good marks too." But I couldn't say that to her because I knew that would make her feel sad and guilty so I just held my tongue. I mean, I did have a good time in highschool. I was popular and thanks to my nosy, big-mouth friend, I also found out I was voted the second prettiest girl in school. BUT also thanks to my nosy, big-mouth friend, EVERYONE in school also found out about my 12% final mark in biology, and 9% final mark in math!! So thanks to her, I was also known as the school bimbo for 3 years (until this one guy got a 3% final mark in math and beated my record of 9%. Yup, I held the record for the lowest mark EVER in highschool for 3 consecutive years). And I had to lie to my mom that I had dropped the course but they just somehow put that mark on my final report card anyway... (yeah right!!!)

So is it any fairer that my cousin is naturally smarter and she's using that to get ahead in life whereas I have to use my looks??? Last I heard, (we lost contact with each other now) she was studying law to become a prosecuter. My biggest fear is that one day, I'll get another bawdy house charge and she's going to end up prosecuting me!!! I'd be totally......Oh my God...!!!

She's probably happily married, with 3 or 4 kids, big house, nice car(s)... and me.... well, let's not even go there. Looks-wise, back in highschool, most people gave her a 5 out of 10. Would I switch my life with hers?? You betcha...In less than a split second. I doubt she'd switch her's with mine. So who got the better deal here?????? Even pretty girls need a brain to know how to use her looks to get ahead. Smart girls... they don't need looks to get ahead. They know EXACTLY what they're doing, EXACTLY how to get there. The only way for pretty but brainless girls to get ahead is to marry someone rich. Even then, once they tire of us, they just trade us in for some younger, prettier model. And then where will we be?? Yup, you guessed it. Back at some MP just like where we started... but just with 2-3 kids to support now.

Good point Leah, and well put. I have never thought of it this way. I mean this doesn't only apply to girls. This applies with guys as well. I remember the best looking guys in school ending up working labor jobs or low paying jobs, whereas the nerds now own their own companies and what not.

I was valedictorian of my graduating class only because I was fairly popular and had the third highest average in marks in my class. Valedictorians are usually the all around students, socially and academically. And I think I have done pretty well for myself. I wasn't the best looking guy in school but I am definately no ugly duckling.

All in all I just think you make a good point about using your looks to get ahead in life and no one should judge you for that. Good luck to you in the future....

Hi fellow massageplanet.netites!! Just thought I'd update you guys on how my 1st wk of work went...

Well, like usual, I was late for my 1st day of work. Since I already used the "got lost, couldn't find the place" excuse the last time when I went for the interview, I figured I couldn't use that excuse again. So what did I do? I used the #1 excuse found in "The Whacker's Handbook of Excuses for Being Late":

Boss: You're late.
Me: I know, I'm so sorry. I was actually early this morning
but just when I was about to leave the house, my
"thing" came and I had to....
Boss: (turning beet red) Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah... It's
O.K., don't worry about it. There's already a client for
you, just go get changed.
Me: (thinking: Awesome!! Got away with being late
again!! All except I can't use the same excuse 'til next
month.)

I swear, I don't know what it is about "the thing" and men, it's so funny... they just don't want to hear about it. I think I gave my poor boss a heart attack. He seems like such a shy man,... easily embarrassed. I'll have to keep that in mind.

Anyways, so far, I LOVE the place. The boss is SO nice to me!! And the place is BUSY, BUSY!!! I had 14 clients the 1st day, and 11 the 2nd day. I didn't even have time to buy food and U know what, every time I mentioned I was hungry, when I come out of the room, my boss had bought me food!! I have NEVER worked for such a nice boss in my life!! And the commission is way better than the $10 I was getting at my old place. And the clients are totally AWESOME!! There's no BS, BJ or FS allowed at the place which is fine with me, but with the exception of 3 clients, EVERY SINGLE CLIENT tipped me at least $10 or more!!! A few of them gave me an extra $20 or $40 for NOTHING!!! I couldn't believe it. I would've NEVER guessed!! The clients there are SO upscale. Why didn't I find this place before??

Well, I'm not going to tell U how much I made those 2 days but let's just say that I can finally say bye-bye to my homemade cardboard box and phone book I've been using as my dining table. (I know, it's pretty pathetic)

The funny thing is, the boss charges different prices for all the clients. He advertises one price which he charges the new clients. For the regulars, he gives them a $5 discount. For his friends, he gives them a $10 discount. Well, I don't really care since he gives me the same commission anyways. Honestly, it makes me mad now when I think about how my ex-bosses before tried to take away our commission. A few times, they talked about how they're going to keep the whole $40 and us girls get nothing, just the tips. But b/c everyone objected, they didn't do it. So now, I can't believe I found this guy who's SO nice to me, giving me such good commission AND buying food!! Now, I'm just scared that it's not going to last because maybe those LE people will find us and give us trouble. I hope not!!! I'd rather never see that cute cop guy (or LE guy) again if it means I can keep this job here!! [Besides, I don't even remember how he looks like anymore!! I'm kinda like Kelly Bundy (Married...With Children). Everytime, I learn something new, something old gets lost. (Can't remember which episode that was from) So memory of how those LE people looks like is fading pretty quickly. Besides, this is a different spa now so probably different LE people. Plus, lately, I heard it's 2 LE women going around the area I'm working in. Gosh, THAT must be easy to spot!!]

So anyways, no complaints at all SO FAR with the place. Only thing is... the boss keeps on calling me "Ginger" and the girl I work with keeps on calling me "Chilli". I have no idea why since my new name sounds nothing like those 2 names.

And the whole different prices for different customers thing makes me laugh. It reminds me of how I was when I first started this business. There was no set prices except for the DF at this one place I was working at. So the other girl and I had different prices everyday. One time, a customer said to me, "last time I was here, you only charged me $80". I had to think fast so I said, "Yeah, you must've came on a Monday. Today's Friday. " Well, he paid up anyways.

Since this boss is SOOOO good to me, I'll try not to screw things up. I WAS on time for my 2nd day of work so that's good. Plus, so far, he seems happy with me too. He asked several of the clients how they found me and they all said I gave a great massage and was very nice. And the girl I work with... (there's only 2 girls a day... small spa!! I'm going to be working with her both shifts) she's absolutely gorgeous so there's definitely going to be no jealousy going on. And we get along so good already. So hopefully, I've found myself a new place to settle down!!
