Maybe any reference to Ideal Sante' should have in the title - very expensive. There is no question that the women are greedy and will get as much as they can.

I think there is also no question that the women there give an above average massage. Anytime, you end up haggling in price over something, I doubt any of the parties have a good experience when all is said in done.

If you go into the appointment knowing it will cost you above market rate but are willing to pay that, I think the women will be more responsive and give you the type of experience you are hoping for. Since I participate fairly infrequently, I don't have a problem paying extra for a clean, safe and enjoyable time. I am very satisfied with my mileage here.

I think this thread says it all. Anyone who reads this knows up front that it is expensive and the women are money hungry. If you go there expect to pay. If you disagree with the price structure, don't go there. However, knowing what you know, don't go there trying to name your own price. Maybe someone can start a Priceline for MP's.

Recording your own conversation is not illegal in Canada. Believe me, I know for a fact. If it would be illegal, cops would have closed my business a long time ago!

As long as 1 party involved in the conversation is aware of the recording, it's legal. You can't plant a microphone in a room and leave since you won't be part of the conversation anymore but, if you're still in the room and are a party to the recorded conversation, you're perfectly legal to record it and you don't need to tell anybody.
If you want to leave the room and still record what's going on, you will have to ensure whoever is in the room or enter the room know they are recorded.
If you are carrying the recorder on your person or belonging and you're the one turning it on to record what's said between you and others, no question, you are 100% legal.

Same goes with phone recording. You can record YOUR phone conversation without telling anybody else.
If you have a device recording phone lines while somebody else than you is using those lines, you have to ensure they know they are being recorded. Once these peoples know they are recorded, they don't have to advise whoever they talk to either because 1 person (the one using your lines) is aware of being recorded so the other end doesn't legally need to be made aware.

In the states, the law vary from state to state. Some prohibits it as soon as 1 person might not be aware and some will allow it same as in Canada.

On the phone, some states will require a verbal announcement at the beginning of the call, some will require a discrete "beep" every 10 seconds or so, some will do as in Canada.

Well I was running some errands earlier this week in this neighborhood and I came across this ''massotherapy'' sign with some Asians letters,on Atwater near St-Jacques.

From what I have read on these boards the majority of us like good service and aren't afraid to pay for it. However, if you've been in this hobby (me for 14 yrs now) you can't help but tell the difference between someone reaching down to enhance your experience and those that are reaching for your wallet.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

As far as I'm concerned a tip is a tip. If they have a price structure, then this no longer constitutes a "tip".

The younger you are the more inexperienced you probably are, and thus the need for an explanation of proportions.

C'mon in a city of 1 million + there has to be enough demand to go around. So let the quality off service direct our patronage and generosity of tip. YMMV is always going to apply, let it be reflected in the size of our tips.

Personally, I like a massage with a happy ending. Plain and simple. Is it worth $50.00?? Not when you can go to many full service bars and get a bj for $50.00. Granted you don't get a massage, but chances are the massage isn't going to be all that good in the 1st place, and it isn't going to cost an extra $35-$50.

We need to quit whining and do something about the way things are getting out of hand (so to speak).

I've been to this place 3 times now, and each time I've went it got even worse! I believe the first time I went was with a woman named Candy. I tiny chinese woman, early 30's.
