A 'name' DJ gets way over that kind of money.. Maybe being big in Japan isnt a large player, smaller fanbase etc, I mean who is he ? if no one on here has heard of him then that explains it at 2k plus first class flights plus accommodations plus hospitality (so now already a no name has ended up costing 1000s).. But lets use a top tier like Diggers, Sacha, Tiesto, Oakenfold etc.. Those are 5 figure a night names, even mid tier stuff like you see in Lime is up there if its only the money. This is why active management of a club is very much a connections based thing on getting good talent IMO.

Cant think of a single place thats applied that to the tourist market and it worked.. Can think of a couple that tried it and failed tho..

Overall I hope if can work.. Proper name DJs.. Heavy AC.. etc etc.. Could be good.

It was a regular gig (weekly), That's pretty good money for a one-night a week residency. Many of my friends are in the DJ game here, I don't recall figures of $10-$100k being talked about for guest DJ's playing at QBar, Bed Supperclub, Ministry etc...

This is to play here I'm talking about, not down the Rat & Parrot in Blackpool. Its pretty much a whole different ball game and I'm also assuming a relationship, holiday, Asian tour type thing here not just ringing up a DJ's agent and flying him out for one night.
