The response to where are you going or what are you doing is exercise. According to the document you are allowed to go out to exercise, so just say you are going for a hike. Carry stuff in the car that can back you up.

Yes that's exactly my thoughts. People have to go out and walk their dogs and stuff. Parks and playgrounds are open, unlike the first wave. Tell the cops you're going to the park or going to the walking trails.

It's essential for the mental health of fans. Traveling is a means for the players to stay close to their families. Bettman has stated that the league didn't even think about locking players in one place for 6 months. It wouldn't be humane.

I did forget this excuse would only work during the day, kind of hard to get away with night hiking. Although, I guess you could ask what constitutes exercise, they say sex can be good for the heart.

Ha. There's a solution for that problem too. You tell them you worked the midnight shift, and your body clock is programmed to sleep during the day.

The league isn't making as much money as would be if normal. Mostly just from television. How are the owners making money if tickets and food aren't being sold?

The NHL is headquartered in the US, and decided to proceed with the season even though there were outbreaks in other leagues. I have to imagine MLSE weren't willing to forego a season's worth of revenue if the league decided to go ahead with the season...and maybe the NHLPA didn't bother pushing back on the league.

If you're talking about Americans, yes of course, not much. But Canada's a different story. About half of us live, sleep, breathe, eat, drink hockey. Not to mention hockey players themselves. They want to compete, not sit on their derriere. And Oveckin is going after the goals record.
