I wouldn't worry about it, it's no more dangerous than the flu. Because it is the flu.

The difference between Covid and the flu is similar to the difference between a Cadillac Fleetwood and a Volkswagen Beetle. They both have a motor and four wheels, but I think you know what I mean.

Covid will be around much longer than next year. In all likelihood the rest of our lives and beyond. Am at a state of stay as safe as I can and get on with life. Living in lock down, afraid to get together with friends and family, etc. etc, fuck it, doesn't work. Covid will stick around. Get vaccinated (I am), get your booster shots (am on the fence here personally), and hobby on. Last lock down I went 7 months without a single encounter. This time I have 4 numbers and counting for fav'who will see me privately next lock down.

I say in about 20 more months, we'll be seeing the beginning of the end.

Unless a big asteroid hits us first, and we end up in a black hole.

The good thing is, after this you are immune to COVID. I imagine there are many others here, including MPA have got it but do not tell others like you.

Just a lot of neocitran, rest and monitoring of blood oxygen levels. Feeling better after about 5-6 days, but still not MPA ready

Immunity is not guaranteed after recovering from COVID and the variants. Omicron, Lambda, and Delta infections are occurring in those that already had other variants or double vaccinations to varying degrees with ymmv in severity. Still vaccines seem to be better than nothing in this slow train wreck of a pandemic with the ICUs in Canada not going to capacity at least for the time being. At least South Africa , India and the UK were candid enough to report new variants unlike China which lied and attempted a cover up with obviously egregious results on mankind. Globally disasters like Russia currently , Israel looking at the fourth shot and the nascent Omicron variant should give us all reason for pause.

Had it in the beginning, nothing since. Get on with your life. They are scaring the fuck out of you to take your way of life away from you. It is a slow con job, the vaccines don't work. When have you ever heard of a vaccine that you have to keep taking. I know, the flu shot. But, you don't have a choice to make a decision on taking it or not.

Let's see, I know I need to take it so that your vaccine works. Then we have to continue to take boosters whenever they say we should. But, they don't work otherwise we would be able to stop taking them. Think about how crazy this is.
