i understand the licensing issues but it [RCA] did seem like too many people were there just to be seen or thai guys protecting their GFs from the farang rustlers havin a hoe down. Does seem like the only thai guys there who were there to dance and enjoy the music were gay? The rest dancing were TGs and farangs. Maybe it was just that night.

Bed Supper: not been, will try next time but it looks a bit ....'bright'...i like my clubs dark - onlylights needed are lasers and strobes (my cheesy roots are showing). Lucifers is on the list to check out too.

Beeing originally from Spain, I can tell you that you don't have to expect a"movida" as crazy as in your home country but nightlife is still pretty exciting and lots of nice places to party. Just go out earlier 8pm -9pm

Hobbsy, indeed, Thai style idea of a clubbing evening is definately different from what we call clubbing. Slowly Bangkok is getting ready for it though. look at Astra, big and succesful and not all those tables with their little groups.

Bed is not my cup of tea either. You not like 'posers', stay away from there!

if your fan of hip-hop, the dj at safari plays the most current hip-hop ive heard in los, except for sundays at q-bar.
he still plays all the routine stuff but he does a good job of playing stuff that is current in the US
and he gets even better out in the back shed late at night/morning

Interesting info K2. Would be nice to have some theme nights, with maybe a 70's funk night. That always gets me into boogie-mode. And possibly get some decent DJs to do a session, like they did in Safari Pub on Samui. Far superior to anything on Phuket IMO.



Went there the other night and it was still open around 5 in the morning.

Also, been hitting Safari a few times after the last footy match, and it has been pretty good. Open til around 7 or so. But the music is still sh1te. Unfortunately, the curse of Eminem is still looming over the Patong night-life scene.

No worries. Only shoes which will deny you entry are slippers or sandals.. All other (semi) accepted. If needed, drop me a PM and I give you a few names, including mine, and you will have a walk in the park to get in. Can not promise free anymore but at least without hassle......

Ones I had a few Japanese customers with me, not expecting to go out. Brought them to Q and doorman embarassingly said that 1 with sandals could not be let in. After a very brief word with him he went ouit to get black socks. In the sandals and all good to go!

Its really funny how a lady can generate a different response from all the boys here... If any guy would have asked what you're asking, most of the bm's would have probably told you to do a seach first.... But instead what we have is a new and up to date list of nightspots with info on entrance fees as well. Although i think the entrance fee for banana is wrong.. I could have sworn it was 200 bht instead of 240bht... But then again its been a while since i've been to banana so i'm not really one to talk....

Spain is great for partying (for girls only). My male friends always complain that the girls get the free drinks, entry etc and that most Spanish girls tend to be a bit snobby. I think this is because Spanish men call anything with boobs "beautiful" so they all start to believe it even the ugly ones and they think they're above a lot of guys
