Official: Carlsberg Returning to Thailand

I know this is Western reasoning, Carlsberg is a western company after all.
I am sure the business people at Carlsberg also doesn't give a cent about what Khun Charoen thinks.
They simply want to be back in the business of being a major player.
As far as the win or lose on a more personal level Carlsberg already got passed that in international court.

I can understand why you would not want to fill up your cooler with Carlsberg at this point if space is limited.
I predict, however, that you will within two years.
The same I predict that Carlsberg will become a major player again in that time (at least in the touristy areas) and there will be a significant demand for the brand again.

Beer Lao is owned 50 % by Carlsberg (bought it from Khun Charoen). Other 50 % is Lao Gouvernment. Danish brewmasters in Vientiane.

I will stock Carlsberg when people ask for it, Beer Lao was mostly the Hash guys, a great beer but not widely known, guess thats why it disappeared from Phuket.
