You know, when someone laughs at their own jokes, you might as well put a hat on that says "I'm insecure and my ego is bruised". They're trying to reassure themselves they made a good joke.
Also, this is a fitting read:
When Jokes Are Actually Angry Lies

yeah but I'm not angry, not on this thread. That is speculation not fact. Sure someone can be angry and pretend to be laughing. But that's I was always been since the late 90's. It was me who pissed off people though. Also the article claims people can laugh because they are bored and depressed so in theory i can be any of those things too although that is not why I am laughing.
I used to work with the public and I got them to laugh and i was laughing too. If they didn't laugh at first eventually they laughed. It's harder on the internet but in real life it's very easy. Everyone I joked around laughed, not a single person didn't laugh. Some tried hard not to laugh but holding it or smiling big time.
According to the source:
Freud suggested that
humor, and jokes, were ways in which we express conscious and
unconscious thoughts, motivations, and feelings. He pointed out, quite effectively, that humor often conceals anger and
aggression. Saying “I’m going to kill you,” in a
laughing tone, allows us to safely say “I’m really upset and scared/frightened/angry with you, so much that I could harm you,” in a way that doesn’t trigger a defensive reaction.
I didn't say I was going to kill anyone let alone harm anyone or use any violence. If you're going to link to an article maybe you should read the article. Nice try though. LOL
