I still think you should have changed the name and it is not expensive, but require some paperwork yes. Or is there any new costs I am not aware of? Printing a new sign would cost you maybe 4-5000 baht, change name on the whiskey license is just 1200 baht or similar price range.

Yep was thinking the same thing, ALWAYS wise to change the name where possible. You do inherit any/all outstandings from the previous owner, if you dont change it, and its not all that expensive.

Yes, its more the paperwork that conserns me, new menus and stuff like that. Im a lazy bastard so Im keeping the name at least until new year.
Im going to have the openingparty as planed, but after the bar will be closed for a coupple of days. Ive got some people to do some construction work that makes it possible also to sit inside the bar. I will also get one more dansing pole. I will probably be able to put in 10 more chairs.
BTW, I will also very soon get 7 new ladies fron Shang Mai, young beauties in the early 20es :love2:

I like the name, "Love Bar." It's a good name, easy to remember, has a good reputation, and many loyal customers. If a bill come in late for taxes or goods, he can always make a trip to KK to visit his friend!! No worries!! In the words of the old song, "All you need is LOVE(Bar)!" :biggrinlo

The paperwork is nothing, just rock up to Kathu and act dumb, they are extremely helpful.

There was one bar that I didnt change the name on, and that was the only bar I was caught out with having to pay up for the previous owners outstandings.

The openingparty was a sucsess, and buisness after have been good as well. Good to finaly make some money in Thailand.
I havent sold the Darkside yet, but are working on it. I might even rent it out. Its to much to take care of 2 bars.

Wylos; when are you heading back to Patong? and was Cambodia as expected?

hey mate,thinking of renting the darkside out,let me take care of it,i told u the plan.knock the bar down,put in some of them cushion\seats on the floor,thai stlye,fukcing comfy.get some of them big ass bong type things (shiskas,morocan i think,loads up rat u thit)and lets all get our smoke on .

any one know of a place like this in patong?let me know.very common in samui and phangan,maybe minus the smoke thing( mg: ) as its not thai tradition,but them comfy cushions,raised wooden decking,sitting watching the sun go down ,nice meal,very relaxing and chilled.

cambo is pretty cool,a lot different to LOS,not sure when ill be back ,planning on going to nam,loas back into LOS from the north,so maybe mid oct to the end,we shall see,taking it as it comes,see u soon.
