Playschool is still running, we sold that back in February. No you are thinking of Coyote Bar, they are next door and still have the live band most nights.

Will be using a substitute for Chambord. Have even been asking at several bottle shops here in Sydney and Coffs Harbour, and its not even available here in Oz, so that really rules out Thailand.

I'm putting a house shooter and cocktail on the menu, have just about got the recipes sorted. So will be looking for taste testers next week.

By the way, anyone heard of a liqueur called "Chambord". Its unheard of here on the island, but does anyone know of a substitute.

Chambord is a french raspberry liquer.
Try Creme de Cassis it's as close as you can get here. And you usually mix it in Champagne or other things or over ice cream. You can get some french Creme de cassis that pretty good.

As for Playskool, I know the new owner, and have done quite a bit of work improving his music collection as well other tweaks.

Philip's not exactly a new owner, I sold it to him back in Feburary last year. The music was great when we left, but admit the few times I have been in there since, it left abit to be desired.
