I know some mpas read this site, so in an effort to improve general service during a session for all, we as clients have to give some feedback to improve service if it's needed. So here are just a few peeves of mine when I go in for a session...
1. Overly talkative about subjects that i have absolutely no clue on (their bfs...their children etc.) If i'm just saying "uh huh", nodding my head type of thing and not really responding directly to the mpas statements, the conversation topic isn't really helping the session. If the client is very quiet to begin with, it should generally be a quiet session. If they like to talk, by all means talk, just make sure it flows well. Your professionals.
2. Saying something to the fact, "we only have X minutes left" doesn't really help either. Avoid avoid avoid, as it utterly kills the mood and it will almost certainly make clients not repeat because they might feel they are being rushed out the door. Your professionals in this business so don't try to short change a client. I realize you might get in some trouble with the manager about this but repeat customers will no doubt bring a smile to the manager more so I'm sure than going o/t by a few more minutes
3. After the deed is done, and it is cleanup time. Just some friendly "thank you for coming in" type of thing ie. a simple smile, goodbye, hug, peck on the cheek does the job even if you don't mean it. This is simple because at this "stage" you could probably fool most clients with a plastic smile as you just sent them to nirvana and back if the job was done well in their eyes.
So what are some other peeves of fellow massageplanet.netites that our mpas can improve on?
