Congrats! So happy everything went well. It's a truly wonderful experience helping to shape the minds of the young, planting a seed for future growth and possibilities. Totally great!And the nervousness - every time I get in front of an audience (in another life I was an ensemble member with a couple of local theatre companies) I would be sooooo nervous. I would need to breathe, focus, and meditate before going on seforum.xxxe, but the nervous energy was always a boost. It helps raise the stakes. So accept the nervousness and accept the fact that YOU ARE NOW HOOKED!

I am going to look into Toastmaster in the future, I have heard of that before and I am definately someone who could benefit from that.Would you believe the same lady called and asked me back to talk to another one of her classes!  She thought I did great and said the students really enjoyed the presentation.  I just may be a pro at this public speaking stuff someday

Hey Jill,

Here is a site called the Presentation Advisor, if you sign up for there newsletter they give you tips on making presentations. It's helped me out, I did a presentation about a month ago and it went very well.
