I went to Club215 last night. Really nice setup in there. Beautiful ladies. A tad on the expensive side though for Drinks and LDs.

Went there a few weeks ago. It seems to consist of two parts.

One an outside beer garden with a huge projection screen that shows football and has nibbles like shish kebabs and some rather expensive Thai food. Had three types of beer, a dark ale, a lager, and what I think is a wheat beer.

Tried the first two which were OK without being spectacular. Beer costs about 150 baht a pint.

There is a large indoor seforum.xxxe area where acts perform. On the night we were there there was a magician and a singer and you didn't seem to have to pay to watch them. I imagine more famous acts you will have to pay. We didn't stay inside though because the air-con was cranked up so high it was uncomfortably cold.

They also have a few private dining rooms that can be rented which might be appropriate for entertaining people but I didn't ask how much they were or what the deal was.

Anyway, might make for a different night out, but the food is pricey, and watching magician's and cabaret singers makes for not such a racey evening.

Beer is ok at the brewery, but it is prob more of a locals place. Food was poor value.

I prefer "the sh1t tip we know as Patong" so if I can't get over the hill I load up my mp3 player with my favorite music and drink beers from outdoor tables at the various family-owned convenience stores on Soi 11 between around 7 and 10 p.m. Lots of live entertainment on the street.

Crowded bars, elbow to elbow, with loud music isn't my thing. Also, I think it's a bad idea to check out Thai girls (even if girl-watching only) at the locals' watering holes.

I would also be careful flirting with girls at local Thai watering holes, if she have a bf you will ask for trouble. But I have also seen alot of friendliness, they may invite you and you drink as a group of friends.

Sad news if Pink Lady massageplanete is closed down, havent been there much but always liked the place. Never been to its new location but went to the old location a few times.

Sofa is definitely not a gay club. whoever gave that intel has obviously never been there. Its just the usual Thai club with bands alternating with DJs. Its quite big and is on 2 floors. Music is nothing special but some very nice looking talent in there most nights.

I have never heard of sofa as a gay joint either.. And never seen it packed out as a sausage rally but only ever dropped past pretty early once or twice.

i live round the corner from Sofa and drive past it most evenings. Same crowd as Kor Tor Mor. No way is it a gay venue. In fact, i dont know of any gay venues in Phuket Town (but i haven't exactly been looking so there very well might be some).

There were 3 Pink Lady Clubs in Phuket so I'm sure most of the dancers will be working in the remaining 2.

bar coyote will be re-opening it's door soon. a big renovation is under going now.

went to fantasia yesterday night..the dancers' quality quite good but it was very quiet, only about 20 plus customers.
