Physical violence from BG's

Who has ever been on the end of an assault from a BG? Personally I have only been slapped once after promising to come back to U2 bar to take a girl home. I got distracted and never made it. Next day walking down Soi Bangla I was bailed up and duly clobbered. A bit shaken at the time, I decided to gather my faculties over a cold one.

A BG once threatened to have me killed by the mafia after she discovered I had lied to her about the whereabouts of my mate who had taken her home the night before. After taking the abuse for a while I gave some back, laughed at her and gave her the bird. Well, she went off and grabbed a beer bottle, her friends held her back. I went back to her bar many times after this and we stayed well clear of each other. After about 6 months I tried to break the ice, she was ok after I said I was sorry about the whole incident. On my last tour I sat down and bought her about 6 beers. My mate reckons I should complete the reconciliation and take her home. Maybe this Songkran is she’s still about.

Just thought that in a place like bangla if it would be in my country there would be much more trouble (fighting, shooting, robberies, whatever...).


On the other hand: I never got a black eye from a "farang" woman.... but two from thai woman.....

From my very limited experience Thai woman have filthy tempers and when they topple over the edge they lose it. I like to think that I can look after myself but from what I have heard hear and elsewhere I would do almost anything to avoid a fight. I don’t care how good you are they will just keep coming out of the wood work. They don’t obey our rules, where I am from to kick some when they are on the ground is cowardly. Thais have no problem with it at all. As it was said earlier if you do win first time they’ll be back and even more pissed off.
I’ve seen them fighting amongst each other and beer bottles over the head is another thing they don’t have a problem with either.
From every thing that has been said before, check your temper and your reaction.
My original post was that I was smacked in the face. If it had of happened at home I would have returned the favour instantly but in Thai I just put it down to experience and only had my pride hurt. I can live with that.

I got a smack in the face also. I had taken a girl out of a go go in Chiang mai, the one up near Thae Phae gate, probably the only one I don’t know. I had been with her on a previous tour and went to say hello through the day in her room, still had her phone number, only said hello didn’t boom boom. Typical girls room fairly second hand and definitely not arousal material. She said that I would come and see her that night and I said maybe (in thai). I have found that saying maybe is better than lying and easier on them as opposed to a straight out no, unless you definitely aren’t going to see them then I say no.
She chose no to hear maybe (I think) and I went in the following night and she strolled straight up and smacked me in the face and then said you say you come last night.
Of course I did not hit her back and I went and sat next to Mamasun and she did not bother me again. I went back next tour and she came and said hello and was very civil and we talked about it and I told her that I said maybe, I bought her a drink and we parted on a friendly basis but I made it very clear that I would never go with her again. I have been in after that and we say hello but that is it.
I won’t put up with that crap.
We have to keep face also,

Never happened to me, but always to a friend on every trip (different friends) and I have to sort the thing out before they get the police or muay thai boyfriends. Guess I´m nicen hansum man that don´t get into problems

A definite no-no is:

a-having a long-term GF and leaving the mobile phone unattented
b-staying at her loom, and while her away, having female visitors
c-taking a ride back to her room with newly-made (and done) gf´s
d-short-messaging with other chicks

Totally wrong :biggrinlo I was with my decision about, totally drunk, not looking for a guesthouse and going instead of this home.Forgot the bird on my hand and some early woke-up neighbours while entering her appartement.

Well, I got punched,kicked and threatened with a knife by her (150cm/42kg)
only for a/c and d.

1 day after I left for home she called me and was informed about my actions in her room.I don´t even want to guess what she would have done, that little beast.If she´d had that temper in bed I would not have to be forced to my other activities :embrassed

Well, I´m married now,not to her and Phuket/Patong isn´t scheduled for the next years anyways
