Wow, Didnt realise but i must have been overpaying all this time. I generally seemed to pay / offer around 2000 as i thought that was the minimum price. I have had some BGs ask for 3000 but i guess i should have guessed that meant they werent really into going along anyway.

I rarely got any bar girls straight for the bar last time I was in LOS... I learnt to pick them up once they had knocked off work and went to the nightclubs. Generally paid around 800thb, and i would tip them another 200-400thb in the morning if they put in any "special extra" efforts. Even had one that said the following morning that she didn't want my money because she had such a good time.

harsh man. I'm not stingy. If you read that first post i wrote, i said i paid them generally 800baht, plus a 200-400baht tip in the morning.so essentially i pay 1200baht, which is around the standard anyways. What I was getting at is that it is possible to get a bar girl for less than the 1500-2000baht some people were saying on here.

Don't particularly know what the younger prettier bar girls do specifically, all I know is if you go to clubs after 2am when the bars are closing, like Hollywood in Patong, or say Spicy or Spike in Bangkok, there is an huge amount of bar girls that have finished work, along with freelancers. Girls everywhere. It's amazing. If you can't find a girl for the night, you just ain't bloody trying. 555
1500 is pretty much spot on the average amount for Long time. but it all comes down to what you two would negotiate.

On the flip side one could walk into bar at 11pm and LD & BF a BG for 3000 total

Obviously you'd end up paying twice the amount but get to spend more time with her and make more of an evening of it

I guess it's a case of what d'you want, when and variety; i.e mixing it up

Still generally being asked to pay 1500-2000, 1500 seems to be sort of frowned upon. 1000 is near impossible except for ST and even then.... This is the bar girls, and thats without taking into account the 500 for BF and then the Lady Drinks as well.... All adds up. Maybe i should be looking for FL. Also notice a lot of BGs are afraid of me because of my skin colour (dark) and athletic build (play a lot of sports and do a lot of weights ).

one of the BGs tried asking a few of her friends to come with me as she was going to bangkok for a few days, but they all said they were afraid of how "big" i might be... sucks, as nothing i can do seems to convince them otherwise.

Bluey singlet was the uniform for shearer's and was then taken by truckies, never heard the term "wife Basher" to describe them. I live and work in lots of areas of the bush in NSW and QLD and I think a lot of those who wear the Bluey singlet would not take too kindly to the term wife basher being directed at them or the clothes they wear. You may end up being a little bashed yourself and the wife, she will be saved by the big strong bushy/Truckie.
