Same thing happened to me as well, I booked with Katy, she wanted to charge me 120 dollars for a nude HE, 60 for HE, 30 for touching, 30 for nude on top of 80 dollars massage fee. 200 dollars for a nude massage with HE, which is really unreasonable. No other service was provided, personally I think she is a nice lady, but I definitely not gonna return because of the crazy expensive price.

I think it was suggested in a previous thread, Katy (current name) = Kiya from AM; but it has been years since I saw Kiya at AM, I cannot be sure.

I heard some members here swear that Katie = Kiya from AM Spa. I do not think so, because Katie told me she is Korean, and Kiya, I am sure she is Chinese. I do see some slight resemblance between them, but I do not think they are the same individual.

I've seen Kiya at AM Spa once or twice. Kiya had very sharp massage technique, it felt like I was getting a massage with a hard narrow object such as a pen, while Katie, her massage technique was more thick such as using a roller/forearm and palm to massage you.

What I've remembered, Kiya was not chatty at all, and Katie was talkative and trying to get to know her clients and all.

Overall, Katie gives a great massage with good pressure, and I would recommend her.

Katie also told me she was quite new in Edmonton, so I don't think she would have been in Edmonton during Kiya's time at Xiaoping or AM Spa or whatever. In the end, if Katie = Kiya, I do not know why Katie would need to lie about the stuff she told me, and I never really heard bad stuff about the name Kiya on here, so it would actually be beneficial for Katie to leverage Kiya's reputation to be honest.

Katie seems to be a tall slim Korean lady possibly in late 30s or early 40s. I do have quite a few Korean friends, and at first, I couldn't see much Korean in her since they are massaging you in the dim light, but afterwards I went and pay, I do see the Korean features in her. The receipt provided had a Chinese name though, and I think the massage licence number was tied to PV Hair Salon previously.

Again, I would recommend Katie for a great massage with good pressure.

I agree. However, I did hear Katie speak a little Korean, and I do have some Korean friends. Cabinman made a post about Lala back in 2016 (assuming it is pre-Kiya alias) saying she was up late talking to her mom in China.

I also wrote a quick post about Kiya before saying she's the girl on xiaoping's page back in Jan 2017. I said I believe her to be Lala but didn't hesitate about the photos posted on Xiaoping's website of pics of Kiya. The pic of Kiya/Lala on xiaoping's website doesn't really look like an exact match to Katie imo, but as I said, I do see the resemblance. I could be wrong.

A lot of Asian ladies look a like and use the same alias name, but we shouldn't conclude it is the same person, and then we hope to get the same service of what is previously chatted on from another thread of another spa or PM. In this case, AM Spa (Kiya), Xiaoping (Lala).

Let the ladies start fresh, and if the lady says she's actually Katie and never worked at any prior spa before, then just keep it that way rather than using authority or tactics or multiple multiple multiple accounts laying down something that may not be true.

I also suspect some members here may be old farts and have very foggy memory and would recommend taking some omega 3. It is common for dementia to start kicking in at age > 65.

If way more is actually offered, then I think we should keep that stuff private PM only, or reference in the review that if a person wants to know more then PM the original reviewer. You need to understand that these ladies have massage licence, and I don't think many of them want to get tied into thinking you guys are paying for HE from insurance claims or have their licence reviewed for misconduct. That's just ruining their business.

I had to put myself in the defensive here because Cabinman makes public our private convo. What do you expect? I don't want to end up seeing the lady and all of sudden she thinks I am the one who leaked info or whatever or made rumors. Of course I am going to defend the lady so I can still be somewhat a regular of hers. I made some fair contributions to MP over the past two years or so, but some people here took it to the next level that probably pissed off a lot of RMTs and Spa owners.

If wasn't for Cabinman putting me on the defense, I wouldn't even say anything and keep quiet.

I am just bringing awareness to you guys that we should treat these ladies with respect and keep the graphic stuff private and share things via PM. That's all. You don't want the owner or the lady to potentially lose their RMT licence, because that's their bread and butter and that's why so many ladies here are probably really pissed off at these message boards. That is also why some of you guys got cut off from some ladies and probably new clients get cut off as well. What do you think? It is not rocket science here.

If the lady is not a RMT and don't rely on insurance coverage benefits, then I think it is fair to make the review more graphic, such as Laura on Kijiji. But if the spa is a legit place, and some guys here try to go all out get the most you can from the lady and then post the graphic review on MP, I think that's too far.
