How do you sneak out the funds without the better half noticing it missing. I would love to hobby more but I have a hard time explaining where the missing funds are.

My SO monitors the bank accounts like a Revenue Canada accountant.:grrrrrr:

If you have a joint account that your SO watches then you may be out of luck! A major change in financial habits will definitely be noticed. Is there any way for you to make/get money that doesn't go into the bank?

Or can you come up with a good reason to withdraw $250 a month, like helping out a relative or buddy who's down on his luck? Or come up with a cover hobby she'll have no interest in, like golf.

Do you pay for purchases with a debit card? You can usually get cash back when you do. Grab some every time you use it, it will add up.

Go to PC and open a private savings account...put 20..40 in every once in a while and let it add up, and then just keep replenishing it

Totally....but I'm against a married guy hobbying anyways....if it is mutual and or there is some agreement that if the wife doesn't provide for the husband sexually, then that's another story. But if he must wants to mess around on the side? Totally wrong IMO......

As for the op: How often do you cheat? If it's once a month then take $25.00 extra out a week and tell her it's your mad money. Say once a week you go for wings and beer or something and if she demands a receipt, ask for a divorce because if a husband can't spend $25.00 on whatever the hell he wants, he shouldn't be married.

You should have set the ground rules when you first married the lady.

RULE: I control the finances, you don't like it the wedding is off!

*note* When stating this rule stand a minimum of 10 ft. away, wear a cup just in case she can jump and kick and make sure no heavy objects are nearby that can be used as weapons.

Do as the boys have suggested, hoard a little bit of money every week. It should get you an SP every 2 months. If your wifey knows nothing about cars, make up some fixes. Tell her the water pump is gone and you are catching a break if you pay cash. That should be good to get you a session in.

Be very very careful if you cannot lie without it showing on your face, you will be hanged sliced and quartered in your sleep!
