Questions for Reflexology practical exam

Hi, I'm doing the ITEC Reflexology practical exam in May and can't find any samples of the questions that are asked.

Hi Willow,

You won't get any questions in the practical. For the theory, I would just suggest you learn your A&P back to front as you could be asked anything to be honest. However, for examples of what you might be asked, check out the Past Exam Papers section of this forum as there are quite a lot of good examples.

Hi Willow,

I did Itec practical last year and yes you will be asked questions. The types of questions are on the Itec website. We all had questions of where particular zones were, what would a a large patch or hard skin be called?, etc. Good luck.

Hi Willow,

When I did my reflexology last year the tutor gave us a mock paper of questions following the format of questions from an ITEC exam paper as in TM's post.

You will definitely be asked questions during the practical e.g. where is the reflex for gall bladder; what have you found and what does it mean.

Hi Willow,

I sat my reflex in feb (still waiting for results!) and the questions weren't too bad at all, just think about what you have learned over the past year. There were about 5 on hand reflexology though, don't remember any on a&p (wasn't a&p exam after all), just mostly common sense, you'll be fine. As for your practical, the examiners are lovely, not there to catch you out, just to make sure your competent, i'm sure you are! you should have a marking criteria with how many points for each questions etc,, we were given this at the beginning of our course as it also covers your appearance etc. there is only a set of 10 questions they can ask you in your theory, think i was asked 2. At the end the examiner will ask you what your findings are and do they relate to presenting problems etc, will help you if you know your client so your more prepared and can decide treatment plan ahead. We were told we weren't allowed to know our clients but this wasn't the case! It is nerve wracking because it's an exam, but please don't worry and remember to breath! the past reflexology papers i found on here are what we were given for our mock exam, there are alot of them in the actual exam too.
