Referral policies - any suggestions?
Here's my referral / tipping policy
Note on Tipping/Gratuity:
Gratuities are not expected, but Convolouted will accept them and thank you if you are so inclined. The best tip you can give is the referral of a friend, family member or colleague. Convoluted is excited when referrals become wonderful clients, just like you.
I borrowed some of the wording from pueppi's post on tipping.
So basically I don't give rewards. I'd say about 1/3 of my clients tip me even though I told them I prefer not. Some of the out of towners say that because they dont' know anyone to refer they want to tip. They are usually the family members of current clients.
