Reflexology during IVF treatment

Hi ,

Quick update for you all.

I am 9weeks 1day today and all is going well. I have had 2 scans , 1 at 6 weeks and 1 todayand we saw and heard the heartbeat both times. Baby measures 24mm and we could see arms and legs. My belly is massive but none of it is baby yet, not sure what it is.

We feel so blessed.

Hi everyone,

Another update for you all. I am 24 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. Everything is going so well. I feel great and everyone tells me I look great. I am having reflexology once a month. Baby is due 31st May. Cannot wait to meet her. We have had loads of scans and seen our baby girl and she looks so cute. Jackie xx

Hello there, how marvellous to hear your news Jackie. I'm glad everything is going so well for you. It is so very exciting for us reflexologists when a first client tells us they are pregnant! It happened again recently and I couldn't help having a little squeak and jumping up and down when I was told the news [&:] If anyone is reading this and wondering about having reflexology during their first trimester, I personally always continue treating my ladies once we first find out they are pregnant. In any case, it's very likely we've been doing treatments without being aware of the fact in those very early days!

Hi Everyone,

Another update for you all. I am now 1 day over due. This baby is just too comfy in there. I had a Labor Priming Reflexology treatment on Monday, but as my reflexologist said it will only bring on labor if the baby is ready to come out, well I guess she is not ready yet. I have had a great pregnancy, no problems at all , not even back ache.

You know i've been thinking about you just this week and wondering how you're coming along !!! Wonderful to hear that your much wanted little one is almost here !!!! Please, please keep us posted with weight, name etc, etc.

I'm having a good year thus far, and have 7 pregnant ladies on my books. Two of them falling on their fourth and final attempt at IVF. Theyboth noticed several differences this time in how they felt during the IVF treatment, both emotionally and physically. They're putting it down to the Reflexology and Acupuncture !!!!!

So to anyone wondering whether Reflexology can help during IVF or enhancing natural conception ......... give it a go !!!! My stats are definately pointing in the right direction !!!!!

Hi jackie,

the very best of luck with your labour, i really believe Reflexology shortened my labour time.

I have just had frozen embryos transfered for baby number two, very lucky only had to thaw 2 of the 5 we have frozen. So i am now on 2WW.

I currently have three clients who have become pregnant in spite of very difficult circumstances - it is a joyful and wonderful thing to know that somehow reflexology has probably helped them get to this stage (although we'll never really know what factors helped them get pregnant, since the human body is one huge mystery!!). I will never take the credit for things like this happening, but I do feel that reflexology has made its contribution somewhere down the line. The mum of one of my ladies was so bowled over by her daughter's pregnancy that she has started having reflexology herself!
