HUNTINGTON BEACH – Massage therapists, who have been critical of the city's proposed restrictions for massage business, praised revised regulations approved by the City Council.
The council voted Monday night in favor of an ordinance meant to curb prostitution in the city with regulations that would clearly but not obtrusively identify legitimate masseurs.
The original version was called too restrictive by massage therapists speaking at the March 4 meeting when the ordinance was first proposed.
