Sailing with Girls

Hi Guys,

Well...seems the consensus is that we are going to have some serious problems with this little plan.

However...the trip is definitely on.....and as much as I like my buddy I can't see us having quite as much fun on our own.

So with a positive mindset.....any practical suggestions suggestions which might be of any use? Great bar owner who could steer us in the right direction? I know the mission is a tough one, but hey, any advice you might have is better than no advice.

The other option is we arrange something elsewhere and bring the girls along with us. This allows plenty of time to find the right girls.....but involves flying them in to Phuket from elsewhere. My buddy lives in Manila and he has already found quite a number of girls who would be keen.

But bringing coal to Newcastle seemed a little excessive given the many 1,000's of working girls already in Phuket. I can't believe that flying them in would be the best solution.

Practical suggestions ?? Treble the money on offer.. 1k a day, to be out somehwere they cant return at their own whim ?? No chance.

As said 99% of TG's and sailing is a bad experience, they hate sun, they hate being outdoors, they want AC and fans (doubt the yacht is AC level yachting ??), they get horribly travel sick, etc etc.

My missus does like sailing, she gets seasick but usually recovers after a few hours. But its a real rarity.

I rekon you will be able to find a few girls who would do it as long as your boat is comfortable enough. Money talks in Patong but as mentioned above it might have to be more than 1k/day and yeah if they work in a bar you would be expected to pay the daily bf. You have 4 days to get busy, use the time to sound out as many girls as you can and no cash up front! I would take them shopping prior to leaving so they can stock up on papaya and fish sauce. I do agree though that a week might test their patience. Filipinos would be better to take (personality wise) but too much hassle and expense to fly them in when you can find girls in Phuket.

Two years ago i had a similar idea... bringing a girl to a diving cruise...
BM's gave me the advice to not do it, for the reasons you could see in the previous posts, and it was a good advice...

On the boat i did stay (1.6k $ pro person for a 5 nights cruise, a quite luxury boat) they told me about a couple of italian doctors that rented the whole boat just the year before my visit (8 cabins, just imagine how much they did pay) for a cruise with 6 BG's .... they end up with 6 girls puking all the time... and no fun at all...

The crew told me they were laughing at them all the week long...

Definitely not an experience i would try...

Don't worry about sea sickness, that is easily solved with numerous proven effective cures...it's the ting tong bar girls ganging up on the falangs would be my fear...sleep lightly 5555

Try to get the girls from one bar, so they know each other and are comfortable in each others company. 4 days to suss out, hmmm?, arrange a short boat trip on day 2 or 3, as a test.

Offer to pay bar fine for each day, probably negotiate that to 300 bht per day, girls will deffo go for 3k per day, more likely you will get them at 2k per day, 1k unlikely, unless you can offer a good sales patter, ie, clothes shopping before, itiniery of stops for grub and a bit more shopping, something interesting for them to visit.

Need a couple of 'dry' runs on land to make sure you have a compatible pair or group. Yes, I do know someone who could arrange it for you, they don't call me 'snoopy dodge' for nothing!!! but not good option for you as will have to add their margins on top!!!

As for girls earning 7k per week, yes most that you would want to go with already are, even in low season.

In theory this sounds like a good plan but i foresee several problems...

Choosing the girls - I think I'd struggle to cope with my best mate cooped up on a boat for a week so I think having 4 strangers, who may seem all sweetness and light at the start, would be a challenge. As mentioned above, you would really need to plan to cater for their needs.

4 girls - Greedy! lol. I'm j/k but seriously, I think you could maybe pull this off with one each? 2 spares would add to tensions between the girls I think. Jealousy etc.

What are your sailing plans? Would it maybe be better to sail without ladies and have some shore leave every couple days or so for R&R?

How about if you showed the girls some pics of the boat beforehand? so they know what to expect.

It could be quite difficult to sell it to them if you don't speak good thai. They might think that they will be forced to stay in a cabin area if there's no shaded area on deck etc.

might just reduce the chances of a no-show on the day. If its a cool looking boat they might wanna show their mates too -good face and all that.
