I went to Seduction tonight, I thought it was brilliant with palms and sand on the dance floor. A themed night.

They will have that just once a week, so I guess its a lot of work to put the sand in and then remove it the next day.

Still nice with themes. And it was busy tonight, even the second floor was pretty busy during my time there until closing time.

I think there is a VIP room upstairs as you come up the stairwell and turn around its on you right hand side. Anyone been in there?

I saw black wall/screen with small lights as stars or something, then the door closed, Thai guy was standing guard outside it, so I didnt bother to try and do some breaking and entering

Well I finally made it down to Seduction on Saturday night. Sad thing is I started of drinking with my brother in Soi Eric and got totally Jeff Starfished.

I rang the bell in four bars with the last round of shots being Jaegarminsterwhatever the f**k you call it and stumbled off to Seduction (in that state the only thing I was seducing was a soi dogs ar*sehole).

I don't remember a thing so i'll check it out again this weekend.

I have to take back what I said about the beach party making seduction lower class. I was wrong, because it was done so right.

I was surprised at how well the beach theme worked. It even blended very well with the existing decor. Lots of sand on the dance floor. I was obvious a lot of work and planning went into the decoration. The team pulled it off. Very well done. I liked it. My friends liked it. The crowd really liked it.

On music, the Thai DJ owned the dance floor. He was playing a great set just after midnight last night. Everyone was moving. Once the dreaded (pun intended) Farang dj was spinning, well...he's showing improvement - less breaks and newer music.

If T-Train and the seduction management team has been taking our feedback regarding the music, I'd like to thank them. It was noticeably better last night. Thanks!

The beach theme works. Fun time. Go check it out. Many more thai girls than normal.

No problems there Sir Gez, I'll make sure I mix it up a bit, start off slow with my cassette of War of the Worlds early on...........slip a bit of Roger Whittaker in the mix.....'Mexican Whistler' always gets them up.........Maybe pop on a Jive Bunny Megamix 2, so I can go for a quick pee.....have a rummage through my "Now thats what I call Music" collection numbers 1 thru 9 (I'm saving up for number 10) and finish off the evening at about 9 o'clock on a real high with a few tracks from my 'erection collection' of smoochies from Val Doonican and That Diane Warwick bird..............Let's Rock! Charging 300 last night when i walked past. Still didn't even think of going in until i remembered how much i hate Tai-Pan and Baya after walking in and out of them.

Yeah they may be handing out free entries before 12, but i dont even think about going clubbing till about 2am. If i went at 12, id of only been out 2 hours before hitting and club and showing "THE MOVES".

T-Train - not met you personally yet but Seduction is definately a step in the right direction and is now my prefered destination after 2am. You have the right amount of dancers and FLs keeping the club busy.

As a constructive critisism I would add that it would be nice to see some waitresses roaming and taking drink orders - it's what I am used to now as every other establishment caters for this. Yes, I am lazy

Glad more Thai girls there as that was the bit that was starting to make the place of less interest to me. I accept the club is not run for me and also if I could choose as a club owner I would prefer farang male and female customers to thai because usually they have more of the folding.

I personally didn't like the excess farang because it started to feel like a uk nightclub and why do I want that when living in Thailand, or if a tourist, holidaying here??

ATM, you must be a mind reader. We have been planning on putting the camera on the dance floor and showing it upstairs for the past week or so. you can pick my lottery numbers next time. It wasn't so much a trick keeping people at the bottom of the stairs to make us look busy. It was more about control of the door and not keeping the front door congested with people. I was suprised that people were waiting though. I hope that the people that were here had a good time. It was kind of a crazy night.

I was in there as well last night. The beach theme was a fun time to be had. But, just want to caution: I was wearing flip flops, and slipping and sliding a bit... Sand was everywhere, including up the steps to the bathroom. Girls had to be extra cautious with their steps as well. Sand, hard floors, flat shoes and alcohol don't mix well.... Be careful!

i was just wondering if you required anymore dj's for your club that has just opened in patong. i dj here in england and my style is quality funky party house.i.e. soul avengerz,chris lake, dirty south,supafly inc,freemasons, seamus haji,grant nelson etc etc.i play bars clubs here in england and have been djing for many years and used to run my own club nights a few years back. i will be in patong for 5 weeks from the 25th jan. is there any possibilty of a trial and see what you think???
i feel there is a need for a up to date club in patong and i think you will do very well. if you could let us know and i will be certaintly checking out your club when i come to patong.

Hi T-Train -

Not sure which one you are as I have met Joe and the Finnish MD, but welcome to the board.

The Mrs and me really enjoy disco scene more than anything else and since the closure (forced) of Shark in 2002 which was big blow to Patong's nightlife you have the best place in Phuket now.

Classy interior and music thats there to listen/dance to rather than deafen - cool lighting and comfortable seating - all +++ points.

Music is better than anywhere else - but always room for improvement. Serving staff would be welcome, as heading to the bar all the time - especially when witha big group is a bit annoying (but realise in beginning dont want staff costs to get out of control).

Been told by the Thai's that you dont accept the Free Drinks coupons from them (and I got funny look from one bar tender - but not good to give the free drink coupons out and then not honour them or at least date stamp them for a valid on night).

Costs are within reasonable limits - in fact paying 250 Baht entrance fee for 2 drinks coupons cuts drink price (beer) from 140 B to 125 B - good point. More selection would be good - dont see why you dont have greater variety anyway since San Mig Light and Heineken are the same wholesale price.

As little aside - my Mrs (owns Angels) - you could have asked to move the sign - so please do the decent thing - its been 2 weeks since asking to get the other moved.

We wish you well and hope Seduction becomes the mainstay of nightlife in Patong that it deserves to be.

Good news about the cameras. I think it will help get people up to the second floor.

On the line-up, you are right that people weren't being held down long and the first floor was packed. I guess the new cameras will now motivate people to keep going up to the second floor.
