sorry kind of oldish thread but first time i have seen it, i have been drinking at that bar since it was back in the soi night station on ratty road, the owners are real good people, have a few parties at there house, (he even brings out the gentlement jack) holgi (german and his thai wife) really look after the girls, food and lodging, lend money, help with translations for falang boyfriend sms email etc.

Thai SIM works in my old Aussie mobile.I bought mine without a plan.

Not sure what happens if you bought with a plan,but if it`s locked they can unlock them here in LOS.

She was little like a shedevil. I gave her my mobilnumber so that we could call eachother while I was in Patong. Actually she took my phone and called hers so she got my numberr. I never thought she would call me when I went home to Sweden.

One day after I came home she called me. She had been robbed and all her money was gone...... Ok I told her thats bad, go to the police. I think she wanted a little more sympathy then that.

Next day she calls me again. This time she says that she has quit her jobb in the bar and are now working at carrefour. I told her, thats good for you and she replied no thats good for you??!!! Why is it good for me I asked her and she just laughed.

Some day later she callled again but this time she was sick and on hospital. Cost alot of money.....bla, bla, bla.

I have had some more calls where she explains that she provides her whole family and has to work all the time.

Maybe all this is true but after all the warnings I have had on this forum I try to not get involved in anything. I want to have fun when I´m holiday but I dont want to support anyone 7000 km away.

She was nice when I was in Patong but this is the seamy side of the fun in Thailand. But if youre in the game youre in the game!

Yes it was. But she was very nice and maybe I have judged her to hard. They are selling a product and we, who are the customers have to be as smart as they are.

i went there for a couple of beers tonite, the bar was almost deserted a few cuties and 2 or 3 drunk farangs.

but the girls seem very nice not too pushy about ld´s and friendly
