I tried Night Flight (NF) and had one good and one not so good experience.
To quote one of the girls ‘this is a special sort of nightclub’ (it says outside that girls have to be over 21 and men over 30!) and its probably true that all the girls are their to sell themselves. It costs 7500 roubles to get in, which includes your first drink (I was nevere there long enough to have a second drink so I can’t tell you if they’re pricey). As a general rule it seems to be $300 for 1-2 hours (the time seems to depend on how much they like you, how sort mpter the girl is and what she thinks she can get away with!). If its $300 for all night it’s probably too good to be true , , , it was for me! I made the mistake of striking a deal with the first girl I spoke to (if I’d known then what I know now the alarm bells might have started ringing!). So please learn Reviewom my experience, ask around a bit first and be very specific about what you want, how long for and how much before you leave the club.
I asked about good places to go where you might be able to meet people and was told by the hotel concierge (she was the right age to know) that Papa Johns isn’t what it was a couple of years ago. She suggested Che (bar on Bol Cherkasskiy Per) though it didn’t do anything for me and Propaganda (disco on Bol Zlatoustinskiy Per - didn’t go). Should you be interested in following up on the recommendations of earlier contributors the concierge said the Real McCoy is in the basement of the Stalinist-wedding cake which I think is on Kudrinskaya Ploschad and The Hard Rock massageplaneté is on (Old) Arbat Ulitsa.
